That was no dive. He was kind of in an awkward position there and the way his skate was he just lost his balance. Oh well.

Ryder is looking better tonight. I think he will score one.

Not even going to bother with this... pathetic.

It's not a dive, but it's an embellishment - it's a foul in the NHL and that was a good call. He spun around like a top with the briefest contact, definitely not a natural motion. The trip and fall was what he deserved - pathetic.

I can see the Desharnais call from both sides. Wouldn't be upset with it called either way. Easy to see why the ref called it. Upon closer inspection, yeah, it looks like DD's skate caught a rut.

**** happens.

I disagree. I can see why it was called though, because he took a bit of a wild fall like two seconds after the contact. But it looked like his skate was in an awkward position there and he tripped over it.

Yea he caught an edge in the ice, it wasn't a dive. The way his body moved shows he definitely lost his balance but was still trying to push forward and skate, which further put him off balance and he wiped out awkwardly.

It was awesome! The American commentators kept on calling Canada's baseball players 'these hockey players', as if everyone in Canada plays hockey.

Diving is awesome, it reveals the biggest hypocrites in the game.

The call was for embellishment, but he didn't embellish anything. Like I said, if you've skated before it's easy to notice he simply lost his footing and fell extremely awkwardly while skating at a high speed. Shouldn't have been a call.

Solid period of hockey, 2 more to go. Keep up the pressure and the pucks will go in. Price looked good and seems to have forgotten the two games against the Pens and Nylanders. Chuckie will open the scoring in the second, Go Habs!

It was that extra little leg extension at the end - looked un-natural. Rut - maybe, but he added a little something to the fall, IMO. No need of it, if he did.

These animal phone company ads are absurd. Why would a panda bear need a cell plan?
