Do you want the Oilers to drop get a high draft pick

Since the Oilers are out of the playoff race would you rather see them drop to get a higher draft pick or finish strong and pick around 8-10?

best case?

We finish 9th, missing the playoffs on the last day, and still win the lottery ( because apparently that's possible now)

I want them to do whatever the **** it takes to win a cup. Which one of those will help more with that is up for debate.

But I'll be damned if I give a rat's ass what other HFboards posters think about "tanking" and other balderdash.

We're not making the playoffs, so I want the guys to play hard and get the highest draft choice possible, as long as we finish ahead of the Flames. If we drop a bit and get a player like Nurse, why not?

Finish strong but would like this year to be the last time drafting in the top 14.

They are honestly playing like ******* now... no sense in having a few more wins now when they are done and dusted and completely out of it.

They don't have the ability to do better than they are doing right now.. so getting a top 5 pick is at least some consolation for this ****show. Obviously they are a long ways from being a "good team"... and another top asset never hurts for future depth.

The way they are playing against CGY they might be ahead of us come the end of the season. Whom ever we draft this year will not be playing next season, we just can't bring in another young prospect with Klefbom probally playing next season also.

Can everyone voting to drop for a high pick go to the flames board and follow that team.

We have enough high picks--and skilled players--adding MORE SKILL IS NOT THE ANSWER

Developing the skill we have and getting grit into the line up is what we need.

Another high pick we will take the best player available--a soft FW who while he can score--adds little to what we need

We can always trade some talent for what we need, that is the good think when it comes to having top 6 players.

Lose every last game. I am not a supporter of tanking but this team's effort level this season is so embarrassing they really deserve to be at the bottom. If not for Hall we would be dead last by a mile.

The change in poll results from before to during this Flames game is pretty funny.

Lose and keep on losing. Winning at this point won't do anything but delay the inevitable. Try to draft in the top 6, the draft seems to dip after that.

OK, as of RIGHT NOW. I'm for tanking it. Waive Jones, Belanger, Potter and Whitney. Bring up the kids and give them some NHL minutes.

I want Barkov playing on the third line next year.

Hall-Hopkins-Eberle
MPS-Gagner-Yakupov
Hartikainen-Barkov- (?)
Lander-Smithson-Brown

Petry-Smid
Schultz-(?)
(?) - Klefbom
Fistric

Buyout or trade Ryan Smyth, Shawn Horcoff, Nick Schultz and Ales Hemsky.

Get some real vets here. Horcoff worked his but off to be effective after he got back from injury, but that effort can't last. He's useless again.

I'm so angry with this team right now that I want to get rid of all of the vets. They've been the most disappointing point of the season.

I really think Barkov is the kind of guy we want. He's big, athletic, skilled and tenacious as they come.

Get these ******** vets off of my team. Give Kruger another year.

At the draft, will there be a difference in trade value for the number 10 pick vs the number 6?

IMO, we r going to be trading that pick and we may as well pump up its value by sucking for the next week

I want them to play to the ability that they are willing to play to when everything is on the line.

So, yes. We're going down in flames and will secure another top 5 young gun once again

Adding more evidence that the retards at the top of the organization need to go isn't something to gain?
