This looks awesome. I've been dying for a great new action game since Ninja Gaiden 2 (which I still throw in every now and then)

Not a fan of the design of the Turtles themselves. It just looks weird. Like they were trying too hard to make a "realistic" mutated turtle.

could be a good game though. we'll see.

The fact that they probably had a small budget probably hurts their vision. Being a digital title, this will probably be around a $15 price point.

Both of them have said that they somewhat regretted how much TMNT took over their lives.

If it channels any of the spirit in Turtles in Time, I'll be happy.

It looks like they're going for the spirit of the Batman Arkham games based on that limited bit of content in the trailer. Which is probably the best way to do any sort of 3rd person beat-em-up that involves characters meant to be nimble and highly mobile.

I loved the NES/SNES era Turtles games, but the way games have evolved there's not much you can take from a 3/4-view sidescroller and translate into a more free-roaming 3D game.

If they can make it less frustrating than say... Ninja Gaiden, I'll be happy. That said, I was never all that happy with the transition NG got from NES to the modern consoles. Never felt right.

Turtles in Time for NES and the arcade game were 2 of the best games ever. I hope this one is fun for a few hours.

This is what I took from the trailer and completely hope it's correct.

I shall thrice play it.

I'll probably go with Donnie - the extra range and sweeping attacks would make it easier to hit multiple enemies at a time.

Came out on Xbox 360 Arcade and Steam today (PS3 next month).

Anyone get it?

Tried the demo.

I cannot emphasize enough how much I wanted to like this game. The atmosphere is great, there seems to be a ton of unlockables etc..

The combat is like Arkham light, but the ****ing camera is atrocious.

I love beat em' ups, but the manual camera is a deal breaker. I am probably in the minority here seeing as it has a 9. something on IGN, but I just found it unplayable.

Back to Streets of Rage Remake. Maybe Sega will pry its head from its ass one day and give it the treatment it deserves.

And while we're on topic I thought Charlie Murder blew. I did like Scott Pilgrim though

The game is awesome. The camera is a little wonky at times, but I don't mind it too much.

However, I bought this game for Arcade mode only. So I'm going to beat the main story and just play this like a classic Ninja Turtles game.

Arcade mode, if you don't know, is a pure side-scroller. Just incredible fun. No camera issues here obviously.

The comments are fun, the graphics are nice, and for $15 - I'm incredibly happy.

That's interesting. Is the arcade mode from the usual beat'em up view? If so I may give it another shot.
