Second rated players that are realistically available for trades

As per the titer, who are some players that are realistically available, which team / conferences for what value. I am not talking about Correy Perry and Iginla type.

I think Gunnerson / Liles are available from the Leafs. Both of them have Detroit or New Jersey written all over them. NJ / Det who always puts premium in puck handling maybe interested
Liles does have a long term contract, but some teams would have had to pay that to attract free agents anyways. I don't know why the Oilers wouldn't be knocking for Gunnersons' services. Maybe a low level prospect along with 2nd round

Ryan Clowe: His performance of lack of there of will diminish his trade value. I don't see him being part of the Sharks long term plan. Destination: Boston Bruins. B's love players with a bit of an edge, does provide size and toughness. Second option: Pittsburgh. He'll fit in nicely with Crosby. Mid range prospect with 2nd and 3rd rounds

Clarkson: I read somewhere ( NJ Fans please confirm / deny this) that he wants to be near home close to his children. Destination: Toronto for being home. However, if he does get traded, I can see going to Detroit or B's. . May fetch a first and a prospect

Those are my takes. Yours?

Where in the world did u hear this. Clarkie loves the Devils. Reports said he was crying in his locker room during the Kovy trade because reports were he was going to ATL. Lou was the only GM who gave him a chance in the NHL. Deboer was his coach in the OHL, and Deboer is the only reason Clarkson is still playing hockey. Reports said that Clarkson was ready to quit playing hockey when he was traded to Kitchener, but Deboer talked him out of it. Ever since Deboer has become coach of the Devils Clarkson has been 10x the player he ever was

If the isles are hanging around the 8th seed at the trade deadline, I've no idea whether Snow holds onto his impending ufas and makes a push for the postseason or not.

Vis-I'd like to see him re-sign. Could to be moved at the trade deadline .

Streit-in extension talks. I'll be surprised if he's moved.

Boyes-putting up pts next to Tavares. Signed the 1 yr deal so he could rebuild his rep and impress gms. Could to be moved at the trade deadline .

Nabby- his agent indicated Nabby's open to signing an extension, but it sounds like he'd like a multi yr extension. I'm not sure Snow signs 37 yr old Nabby to a 2 yr deal.
Could be moved at the trade deadline .

Reasoner- most expected he'd be traded or waived weeks ago, based on a Staples comment. Now Staples is reporting, the isles are holding onto him for his faceoff ability. Could be moved at the trade deadline.

Morrow for a 2nd? Or Morrow + pick for your good-ish defenseman prospect.

Avs will probably have a few guys moved for picks this deadline from our depth charts. When healthy, our defense is overcrowded and Palushaj has played well enough to let us move a guy like Kobasew if he fetched a return.

Why are people so down on maatta? We're not even capitalizing his name any more?

How long is Stoll's contract up until? If he's a UFA at seasons end I could see the Canucks potentially being interested.

Agree with all but Weber. Well, I don't think he'd be unavailable per say, but I don't think Regier will be actively shopping him either. He's found his game again this year, provides some grit on the blue line, and is an RFA this season (which matter because only Sekera, Myers, and Ehrhoff are signed beyond this season, and Regehr and Leopold are UFAs).

I really want the Isles to hold onto the guys above other than Reasoner

In fact I would like to see the NYI trade Bailey to TOR for Liles
