Haha I understand that, what I mean was if Luongo would be worth it for you in that deal what is the difference on our end that needs to be added to make it Schneider, I've seen a couple posters from Vancouver side of things that would be ok with that deal as is. I don't think the difference in value of Schneider vs Luongo is all that big. But from a Flyers perspective if we do go down that road and get another goalie and buyout/trade Bryz the one we would want in return in Schneider. We already have had our fill of massively long term contracts on 30+ year old goaltenders.
For us the return for Schneider needs to be marginally higher than Luongo's.
Not that I think Luongo's return is the moon, I consider myself very realistic with how I assess his value, but the return for Schneider would not only have to match his value as a young starting goalie with top 5 potential, but it would have to exceed that enough to tempt us into actually trading him and keeping Roberto.

I guess by young, I mean inexperienced. Either way he is entering his prime years. And yes he is a starter.
And yeah we can stop calling him young if it bothers you that much.

Lol I think you are off in your insight on me, I am one who fully acknowlodges this team has played like utter and complete crap.
