refs or not folks we also need to learn how to wake up early nd play a 60 game. we did well to get a point but this is what sets us apart from true contenders.

To be honest, if Grabovski "faked" an injury, there likely would have been a call.

Nice guys finish last I guess.

Third period had a playoff game feel ... Let's hope we get more of those in the next few months

GREAT to see the ACC going again .. There's hope yet

I think of all the goals that James should have stopped, it was the one that put Pittss. up by 4. That one was, as y'all love to say "terribad."

Stop that one, and it's an entirely new game.

I really cant complain, this team, when focused. (key word there) is dominate and awesome. the third period/overtime felt like a playoff game.

Kulemin was fine, he did his usual illustrious 2 way game, Grabo as usual skated miles with nothing to show for it, great game with nothing to show for it but a -1. I would rather see someone play bad and be +1 and have 1 or 2 points.

Definitely.

They weren't the reason we only have one point after this game. Who knows how it would have been.

However, it's a simple fact that they really dropped the ball on at least 3 easy calls to make, replay or not. 2 trips and an easy boarding call infront of 2 refs is terrible.

I can't recall the Leafs getting these free passes to trip and hit from behind. We get game misconducts for clean hits though.

The refs put away the whistles early in the 3rd, but man, how does Neal get away with that trip on Grabo in OT??

Great effort by the boys to come back and get a point.

- Amazing game
- Haven't seen the ACC this pumped up since before the full-season lockout
- Our two cornerstone pieces, Kessel and Phaneuf, played their hearts out
- We partially bailed out Reimer
- We showed a lot of heart to fight back after that 4th goal -- that goal was a real doozy and took the wind out of everyone's sails. To come back from that ... that's awesome.
- JVR crushed Malkin
- Can't believe we held our own against such a star-packed team

- Don't know why Bozak was the first choice on the shootout, but whatever, it's a skills competition. Would have been nice to win it, but the point is nice to have. We did real well in OT, though.

I don't feel that disappointed, that was a darn entertaining game to watch. Nice heart and soul comeback, nice play in the third and OT. By the time we hit the shootout it was pretty obvious who was going to win, but all in all that was a pretty sweet game, glad to get atleast a point.

Tonight's loss is on the refs and Reimer. I thought we played well throughout the game. We did have patches where we got dominated, but that's bound to happen against Pittsburgh.

Reimer absolutely killed our momentum in the 1st with those horrible goals, and crappy rebound control.

He played GREAT in the 3rd and OT, but he is the reason why we lost tonight.

Great game boys
Loser point which we needed.
Shame on kessel haters
I'll tell why he is soft
This guy had cancer, he is worried about it
Lay off him

Kadri another solid game
Not many scoring chances, but was great defensively, and was physical
Almost got that shootout goal, fleury had no idea, just rolled of his stick
Huge point, let's beat the jets

Yeah, let's just ignore the 4 or 5 big stops that should have been goals. Man some of you guys just love to focus on the negative. How do you get through each day?

Loved the effort in the third and overtime. Not much you can do about the shootout (though I would have gone MacArthur, Kadri, JVR). Despite the SO loss I can live with this team playing and competing the way they did for the majority of the night.

Wasn't it Crosby who knocked Reimer over?
