I've heard these a ton on XM radio, it's almost like they're trying on purpose to make him sound like Peter Griffin. "Skip all those tv ads with the hoppah!"

I haven't heard them on the radio, but the TV ads are amusing to me? I can't say that I live "in Boston," 25 miles south though. I'm usually not a fan of things that call attention to the accent, but these are funny.

the worst thing about these commercials is the fact that they can think of four things on at the same time that they actually want to watch.

Good point, I never thought about it that way. It's usually two in my house for a half hour to an hour, on one or two nights a week. It will sometimes be three things at once, but only because I like to record an extra 3 minutes of a show to make sure it gets the end.
