Voted Plekanec. Homer vote ? Maybe. He deserves one, he's been robbed so many times. I don't see how Toews gets the nod. There's alot of good 2-way players in this league. People go by hype.

Patrice Bergeron going back to back. Already a plus 17 thru 22 games. Outstanding on faceoffs. Top PK unit in the league. His line just doesn't give up 5 on 5 goals. What else can I say?

Also, how does Helm and his 1 game played even qualify to be in this poll?

This...

Shouldn't be making polls if you haven't even followed the race

I'd give the edge to Bergeron right now, but I think if it came down to Bergeron vs. Toews, Toews would gain a lot of favor from the voters just because people think he's due to win one.

Obviously stats don't tell the whole story, and certain things can be a little misleading due to the overall quality of the team (Hawks have a lot more ozone starts than others, so their players will naturally be higher), but I think that the stats points to Bergeron running away with it at this point.

Edit: Attach Callahan, McClement and a couple guys no one has really mentioned Winnik and Fisher who are playing elite 5v5 defensive hockey.

It's pretty much impossible to say this unless you watch all of them A LOT

I'll just say that Callahan has been even better than his 4th place last year
