It's too bad he's been injured this whole time. His pro development is just about to start now, where he could've been two years seasoned already had he not been injured.

Shame, but that's the way it goes. Gonna cheer for him though, if he makes a big splash, maybe we could see him on the big team in two years time?

It must have been a tough road back so Im really happy for him. Not expecting much of anything for the rest of this season but as long as he stays healthy thats a big win.

Very exciting not just for Hishon but for the Avs as well.


If he can stay healthy and regain his form, that gives us another real good forward prospect and potentially option down the middle in the future.


Very exciting, once he shakes the rust off I think he'll be quick to impress us all once again.

Probably not as weird as when Lake Erie plays Rochester on April 05 this year.

That would be great to see him with the Avs next year, but i have the feeling they'll take their time with him. I think he will spend next year in the AHL , that wouldnt surprise me .

Which would be a good thing considering how much time he's had off the ice. No sense in rushing him.

Is there any way to watch tonight's game? I know with baseball if you bought the MLB package you could get the milb package for a small charge. Anything like that with hockey? Firstrow? Are they even televised?

We can see if there is a possible stream for later tonight, but AHL do have their AHLLive program which I believe you can buy individual games.

Firstrow sometimes does Monsters games, since their playing the Marlies I'd bet they'd have a link to this one.
