Well if everything goes wrong tonight we will be sitting at 30th place tonight. Florida and Buffalo are both playing tonight and could pass us with wins.

How is this lowes fault and not Tambos? Seriously I get people hate Lowe but this is Steve's ship now. At this point I think it's everyone's fault. We have a new coach, players who refuse to work hard or shoot the puck and a manger that doesn't understand the importance of veteran leadership.

Everything is not doom or gloom though. Our coaching staff is the best when it comes to special teams and our manager actually made this team better on paper then it was last year.

I just read the Oilers' Facebook gameday profile.

Quote:
Game day! Horcoff, Hemsky and Hartikainen are all back in the lineup as the Oilers play game eight of their nine-game road trip tonight in Chicago. The Hawks edged the Oil 3-2 in OT to start the trip on Feb. 25. Sportsnet West and 630 CHED have all the action from United Center at 5pm.

"Edged out" huh? Oh lord. The propaganda... it's overwhelming.

Good Lord this team has made me so pessimistic.

Shawn Horcoff said today that the team is "a little fragile mentally" and he thinks that a players meeting yesterday addressed some issues.
Shouldn't they have had one of these meetings like three weeks ago?

It was an OT win, I don't think they did anything wrong.

Streak

Wonder if Chicago can score an on goal so we don't get shut out. Walking Dead could be the new name as the team has made zombies look bright the last couple of games.

While Oilers were definitely lucky to squeeze out a point, I'm not really sure what you expect Oilers social media to say? It's a silly argument.

"The Oilers hope to avenge a 3-2 OT defeat in their last meeting."

Simple. Don't sugar coat it.

I will honestly be happy if they don't get blown out on the shot clock and put forth a decent effort. That's all I'm asking

I didnt watch the nashville game and it was great. Very relaxing. But.ill watch tonight because i like watching chicago.

Looking forward to hartikainen being a little too late on every play tonight. I dont know what others see in him. Too slow, everyone seems to think he brings grit but is soft as butter like the rest of em.

Send a message via ICQ to Wheathead
3-0 Blackhawks.

Shots 37-21 Chicago.

I want to think positive, I really do, but as long as that moron occupies our GM post, I don't think we're going anywhere but down.

Probably worse to get the Blackhawks coming off their first regulation loss than if they were still on their streak. Can't imagine they are happy about losing last game the way they did. Wouldn't be surprised if we got shelled tonight.

Then again, you never know what will happen. Oilers could surprise.
I'd say the Hawks are more likely to have a let down now that the streak is over. Sharp is out and i believe Stalberg is hurting as well.

Well, the intro still gives me chills. So I'm not done with the Oilers yet.

Then again Jack Micheals could give anyone chills with his electric commentary!

Love the new line-up changes, it's a great change-up.

LET'S FU****G GO BOYS!!!!!!! I'M SO HUNGRY FOR A WIN!!! LET'S GOOOO!!!

Against any other team I would agree, but we'll probably let them rebound nicely
