So close on that corner, thankfully they called BS foul so it wouldn't have counted anyway

Not thrilled with the way things are going so far tho

Looks like RB Ahmad Bradshaw will visit the Steelers this week. Visits rarely turn into signings with the Steelers but he'd be a nice addition.

US settled in okay after the scary first 15-20 minutes, had some decent chances.

For a game played in Azteca that was about as good as you could have hoped. Good job by the greenhorns and Guzan, especially.

Equally good news was that Honduras lost by 2 to a Panama squad that they should have handled. The next two qualifiers are on home soil, so June will be the time to make a move.

I'll take 1 point in Azteca on any day of week. Good job, USA!

Cowboys plan to sign S Will Allen, who started eight games last year for Steelers.

^ Both primary backups at safety are gone now (Mundy and Allen). It was time to move on from them but it really highlights the fact we need to draft one this year.

Yeah, I think he played mostly CB in college. Steelers tried him at safety in the preseason and he did well. I forget if it was SS or FS. He played a game against Dallas in the regular season as a nickelback and got beat for a TD IIRC. He's someone to keep an eye on and could grow into a solid depth guy. Steelers still need to draft a safety though. I think it's pretty much a must at this point.

I would consider to trade down in first round to get some extra picks and pick Vaccaro.

I've seen quite a few mocks that have Vaccaro going to the Rams one pick ahead of us but who knows. I do like him though. No problem with spending the 1st on that kid if he's there.

I just guessed he was a SS because I remember he threw some big hits in preseason. Not sure how he is in coverage

I don't know if Vaccaro will be available later in the 1st round but I agree. Steelers should trade down because this draft is deep!

Told Ahmad Bradshaw getting physical from Steelers docs today. All checks out, they will try to sign him. Hearing not huge market for the RB

He's a decent player. Would be a solid addition for the Steelers.

Running back ages always blow my mind.

It feels like Bradshaw has been around forever and he just turned 27 last week.

He's a solid 1A back...probably doesn't have a lot left in him, but I'd sure as hell rather have him than Mendenhall.

Bradshaw seems to have constant foot issues. He is a great pass blocker though and despite his size he plays very very tough. He does lack a good top gear and will often get run down from behind. He also has a tendency to do a little too much dancing around instead of hitting a hole hard.

I didnt really have any negative feelings when the Giants cut him. I felt that Wilson was better and much cheaper and less injured. He's a good back but not the kind you want to give some decent money to as he can't seem to take the beating a #1 back takes.

He really wasnt used much until the last 2 or so seasons after he broke out of the 3 back system and started to displace Brandon Jacobs as the #1 back. He has fewer miles than his age would indicate but his feet certainly have seen better days.

Bradshaw is somewhat intruiging. He's strong and could be a good starter. Just hope his health is ok.

Curve currently killing the Pirates ... I have a lot of family and friends at that game, so they must be pretty stoked. Pretty nice ballpark in Altoona there, too.
