Awesome GDT!
I hope Oilers pull off back to back wins, but I got a weird feeling that they will come out flat. Yak gets a goal tomorrow!

Predicting a heartbreaking loss by the Oil. 4-2 with the last two Avalanche goals coming in the last 3 minutes (1 EN). Krueger will be playing not to lose with Smyth getting 6 minutes of PP time, all in the 3rd period. Yak will see 0 3rd period PP minutes.

Pretty much been the norm this year

I think this team got fat off their Chicago win, they're content and tired. 4-1 Loss, Smyth scores early and that's it.

My gut feel is this will be a one sided game for the Avs. They are relatively healthy and playing better hockey.

I think something like a 6-2 Avs win is in the cards. I doubt the Oilers can string together 2 road wins in a row. That would be a Houdini-like magic act at this point in the season for them.

Mmhmm!!

Belanger will also get ATLEAST 2 clear breakaway's one of which will be short handed and will not score

You're dreaming if you think Smyth will do anything.

Nice GDT

We are obviously going to lose since we won last game

Just kidding. In all seriousness huge game for us after a pretty crappy week in oil country. If we win this we'll finish the road trip with 8 points which is less then the 10 I wanted but could have been worse
If we win i will start to believe in the Horcoffian Effect we seem to play better with a healthy horc

Great GDT. Lets hope that the oilers put as much effort into the game as you did in this thread.

We are the Park County Peewee team, and they are the Detroit Red Wings...but I'd rather Stan be our coach than Mr. Kruger.

I know what you mean.
I'll stick with the Horcoff effect.
If horcoff gets a point, is at least 45% in the faceoff circle, and RNH also gets a point, the Oilers win no problem.
going to put 250 vcash on this game

especially with our goaltending situation. Danis isn't very good and I have no faith in Dubnky as he's been playing quite poorly lately.
