Doesn't sound like Granlund's behavior.

Agreed. Doesn't sound like him AT ALL. Even if he felt that way (which is of course possible) there's no way he'd actually say it.

I've followed Granlund's career since he joined HIFK in SM-liiga, and he has never complained about anything else than too many paparazzis and fangirls.

Then again, I don't know what he is like in his private life.

All Finnish prospects seem to genuinely like and respect him and everyone I know who's ever had any kind of contact with him really likes him as well. I've never heard anything negative about him.

Good point. Usually when a player is good with media and a complete dick in the locker room, you hear something about it.

Not sure, there are plenty of centers playing wing who could have been replaced by Zucker.

Yes you do. Especially in a country as small as Finland. If Granlund was a dick, we'd know.

Yep.

Being a locker room cancer doesn't sound like Mikke. Markus, on the other hand... I heard he goes 'round bars and town bragging about being Mikael's brother.

Lovely... a washed-up goalie and one wearing a white mask.

Looks like I will be headed to Austin to see any live hockey about six months earlier than I thought. Like the last week of April.

As if one needs an excuse to want to go to Austin.

If any of you see Fletcher up there at a game, thank him for me for killing what might be our last season, OK?

This sounds utter ********. Markus propably does have a normal party side to him (he has been in some photos in Helsinki night life), but by no way could he be "bragging about being Mikael's brother". And why would he. It's not like a hockey player wants only his brother to succeed. Markus has a healthy self confidence, and some people in Finland don't like it. Rumours like this shouldn't be thrown around like they were confirmed facts. If there are several youtube videos uploaded where Markus is saying "hey guys, I'm Mikael's brother, deal with it" in several different bars I'll maybe learn towards believeing it. Until that happens it's either him joking, or some sad person just making things up.

Just think it through how impossible it is to be true. Markus wants a name for himself as a hockey player. Not as a hockey players brother.

That's pretty much Fontaine's and Zucker's team now.

The Rampage, the team that can't score, takes on the Aeros, a team without a goalie ( or offense). No MiG tonight due to call up.

I'm thinking the guys get their butts kicked again tonight. Heck of a way to potentially end a franchise.

Joel Broda isn't "new".

He just came back from an injury. Was out since December IIRC.
