I was torn between Kulak and Smith on this one. I went with Smith because of his potential.

Going with Kulak. He is going along the same path as TJ, hopefully he can be Brodie 2.0.

Going with Hunter a 3rd time, so far though can't be disappointed in the prospects he's lost to McDonald, Kenny, and Kulak are all solid picks.

Its between Kulak and Smith for me as well but Smith's potential excites me so I will go with him.

If someone once told you that Gio would be a candidate for Team Canada, you'd have laughed. (I would have too.)

Smith is easily the prospect out of those remaining who carries the most value IMO due to his combination of size and skill at a position we sorely lack in.. In which order Kulak, Acolatse, Kanzig and Hickey are to be ranked is anybody's best guess, though; it seems they each bring something of their own in particular to the table..

I'm going with Kulak, but I really feel that Ferland and Smith should be in the top 20, so hard to decide.

the fact Mattsson has more votes than Kanzig goes to show how underrated by our fanbase that Kanzig is. Kanzig is bigger, meaner and a better skater than Mattsson. Kanzig has improved his game exponentially since being picked by the Flames. But people are too busy looking at his size and offensive statistics to realize how much potential he has.

Kanzig is not your typical face-puncher, he skates well, he handles the puck well and is a very smart player on the ice that uses not only his size to crush opponents but his reach to separate them from the puck.

The fact Kanzig is a giant and can beat his opponents to a pulp with his fists all but guarantee he will get a shot at the NHL sometime. His abilities will make him much more valuable than that.

Kulak is technically only a year ahead of smith and much more polished. their upsides are probably similiar. Hunters is a rarer package but kulak our 2B d prospect right there with sieloff imo.

Ben Hankowski being overlooked at this point is nothing short of shocking IMO.

not really, people who have only seen him play 5 minutes a night in a 4th line role are ready to let him walk and think he has zero value to the organization. Even me who likes him and think he can be a good 4th liner in a couple years has him down a few spots still.

I don't think it's a matter of him being overlooked so much as it is that we have a few guys who can do what he does or better.. I also have him as being of lower value overall amongst all the prospects due to how much more important D prospects are to the organization. I have him and Ferland 22/23 right after the quartet of young d-men I mentioned in my previous post.
