Kyle Wilson will always have a special place in my heart for the time TSN has him listed their transactions and pretty much misprinted his name as badly as a name could be misprinted, replacing the L in Kyle with a K.

And Tampa fans, please keep the nickname Big Sexy for Sexton!
Center originally drafted by Minnesota in 2004. Played a couple games for Washington then signed with Columbus. Played 30-something games there then signed in Nashville. He was part of the Anders Lindback deal last year and went to Tampa Bay.
Seems to me like a fringe NHL fourth liner at best.
Mikkelson? Brendan Mikkelson is in the minors you say? Tee hee.
Anyway, Sexton has some skill, he's fast and fearless. But his shot is weak and wildly inaccurate, and he's extremely small and simply cannot penetrate inside an NHL defense. For a while he was a great AHL producer, but he got pushed down the depth chart and hasn't been effective there either.
Hope he works out for you.

Reason: don't need the r-word, thanks
Undersized and a weak and inaccurate shot. But great speed, feisty, will hustle non-stop, and throws everything at the net. Had good numbers in limited minutes with Anaheim (32 points in 88 games), but never really got a shot for whatever reason. He's sort of a slightly poorer man's Andrew Ebbett
damn would've liked to have seen Big Sexy in STJ. I remember his days with the Moose, and followed a few of his games with the ducks. He seems like a bit of a tweener Jason Jaffray/Jason Krog type guy who's slightly undersized for the show, but could really light up the A. Has a decent shot to go with his surprising speed.
Wilson had a streak of good games for the Jackets in 2010-11 where he looked like he might be a decent 2nd liner, but then struggled. He was one of those 'tweener players who isn't quite good enough to be in the top 6, but only average defensively and not physical enough to be a grinder. He's had time to work on his game in the minors since then, so he may have improved.
