I'm super pumped to play it. Its only 50 miles from me so I'll probably play it numerous times this summer.

I'm not exceptionally long off the tee, but I've hit a high draw my whole life and its very reliable. Usually around 275-280 and straight. Tight courses/deep rough have never given me problems...after 5 or so range sessions I'll be good to go...

Ann Weber Hoyt was a Jersey girl and just an amazing person. She passed away a couple of days before my mother did in 2008 so coming up on 5 years I like to think fondly of these special people.

More people in New Jersey should know who Ann Hoyt was...She was a pioneer in so many ways and a treasure in so many ways.

http://missingmarble.com/2013/03/15/...rl-hoyts-wife/

The section on the Two Ann's is my favorite -- Ann was kicking ass in the 1950's when a lot of things she was doing were just unheard of for a women. Maybe because it was "just archery"? But if Ann played tennis, golf or some other higher profile sport she would be hailed as a legend and a great example for other little girls to look up to.

Quote:
They scandalized archery society back then by wearing strapless tops (gasp!) while shooting at tournaments. Because they were both beautiful, and both superb championship athletes, they could get away with this kind “outrageous” behavior, setting precedents for challenging dress codes everywhere. We have them to thank, in large part, for the emergence of other rule-flaunting, sassy, emancipated female icons such as Janis Joplin, Gloria Steinem, Princess Leia, and of course, Buffy, the ultimate Crossbow Girl. Ann Weber (then Corby) even shot barefoot, solidifying her reputation as a rebel. The two Anns competed for decades, then moved in together after Earl passed away. They resided together until Ann Hoyt’s death in 2008.

this sounds like a marriage... and they pulled the Parise maneuver to guilt you into staying.

I wouldn't either if I didn't live close

Let's try this again, if I jump on 280E, it takes me about 10 mins to get to jersey city...

It's where they play some weird sport kinda like hockey, just on grass and with their feet.

Go out with first group and go #2 in the cup then replace the flag and this will probably solve your dilemma.

I'm generally averse to golf courses that come with warning signs, but I would like to play it once. The caddy thing is kindof intimidating too.

Ironically, that hold pictured looks pretty easy. Even doglegs right for a nice little slice.

Grip it and rip it!

I'm not sure if any of you like Patagonia clothing, but they have some really awesome prices on their Web Special section.
