I like it because it's this incredible mix between old and new, and between Europe and Asia. You can walk around in the crazy streets of the different parts of the city, or walk in Victoria Park, or take the train up the hills to watch the whole island. I think it has the most amazing skyline in the world.

I've been there twice, just always loved the place.

Bragging time, I apologize... but I actually gave the last concert to ever be performed under British rule in the Governor's Palace. Chris Patten was a totally awesome host, I remember Margret Thatcher was in the building but she didn't come downstairs for the recital, she just stayed in her room. I almost got there late because I got held up in a strip bar Yeah, it was long enough time ago that I can write that. Those were fun days.

That is a heck of a story

I always end up going with family so I can't enjoy that type of experience.

No not yet. Besides I don't want to be in the Rockies in the winter. They get 400 inches of snow every year. That is not my thing. I'm more of June through November kind of guy

Ultimately I'll do 6 months a year there and 6 months somewhere tropical like the Keys. That's the dream anyway.

Members of the Westboro Baptist Church have made national headlines for protesting military and gay funerals with inflammatory signs.
In protest of the church's beliefs, Planting Peace bought a home that was for sale across the street from the church. Group members painted the house in "gay pride" rainbow colors and launched an anti-bullying campaign

Nice. I just bought new Easton gloves and a Reebok 9k stick for 600 SEK, some sports store here folded so my friend and I went to raid them. I don't really need the stuff but it was so cheap I had to stock up for next season.

Nice! Knowing Westboro though I wouldn't be surprised if it's vandalized soon enough.

Some aren't bad. But there are some with a peculiar scent. I'm glad this is an internet thread so I don't have to know where any on here would fall.
