Which three divisional rivalries do you currently consider as most exiting and why?

I did that. Except no Sens/Leafs.

Personally I don't think Toronto deserves to be in this conversation since rivalries are based off of playoff series. Toronto/Ottawa USED to be a great rivalry.

My third was "other" for Chicago-Vancouver.

This. Ottawa/Toronto has been pretty tame for awhile.

After first 20 votes 17 have gone to Flyers - Penquins and 15 for Canadiens - Leafs.

Although early to say, it appears that such geographical rivalries as Oilers - Flames and NYR - NYI don't currently have much tension between them.

Latter pretty much confirms why I felt that Rangers' away loss in January against Flyers (1-2) was much more intense to watch than the recent OT win against Isles.

Chicago - Vancouver should be up there, since its not I put Montreal Toronto just because of the history

Habs Bruins and Flyers Pens are the two biggest ones right now. Voted other because of Chicago-Vancouver but then realized it's about divisional rivalries. Would probably say NYR-NJD in that case.

Thread title clearly says "divisional" rivalries.

Anyways, two of those should be automatic (Pennsylvania, Habs-Bruins). The 3rd one is really anyone's preference. Mine is Rangers-Devils.

Aside from the obvious Habs-Bruins and Pens-Flyers, I'm going off the board for the 3rd one with Anaheim/Phoenix. They just had an intense mini-series, with 2 of 3 games going to shootouts, and tensions were running high throughout.

The pity I used to have for the Leafs is gone this year, I absolutely loathe them. Not as much as Boston, but still. I guess it means the Leafs are doing great and that the rivalry is renewed.

Hoping for a MTL-TOR series. Bring it on Leafs fans

With Detroit gone, I think people nationally will see more how heated the Blues/Blackhawks is.

Top one is obviously Pittsburgh/Philadelphia.

Also found it interesting that in 24CH when Therrien was talking about rivalries and he asked Prust who his biggest rival was with the Rangers, that he said the Devils. Found that pretty cool.

Habs and Bruins is far and away the top rivalry.

Also voted for Battle of Alberta and LA-SJS (a very, very underrated one).

Thought about Pennsylvania, but I think people are basing a lot of it off of last years playoffs, although it's a great rivalry.
