Don't know bout you guys but that is way too expensive
Buff would be great for this team.

I don't think Winnipeg fans opinion have any relevance whatsoever. Some Edmonton fans said that Ben Eager would only be traded for a high pick and then he went on waivers.. Not saying we could pry Byfuglien but just saying that it'll probably take much less then what Winnipeg fans think they'll get.

Oh yeah? So it would probably not be expensive to get PK from us right? The GM isn't just gonna hand us an elite talent for pieces of scrap even beaulieu Eller and the 1st might not be enough for the GM

The more I look at him the more Byfuglien makes sense for the Canadiens(Markov's age, toughness on blueline). Best not to think about it.

I'd give the moon for big Buff (just not a future 35 goal scorer and the best offensive Dman in the league).

Buff would be a great addition, but I would not do either deal. Too expensive.

no way i would give eller, 1st and beaulieu for big buff!

he is slow, pretty bad defensively and he doesn't even hit that much.

How did you get that out of my post in anyway and what does PK have to do with anything we're talking about?

Beaulieu, Eller & a 1st is pretty much what Kovalchuk and Hossa were traded for, Buffs good but not on the same level. It would take a lot to get him but not that much.

Very true. But I also think the Bruins are better right now than in 2011.

PK has to do with the fact that what if the roles were reversed and they wanted him would he be traded for anything but an overpayment? And big buff would get the same return and hossa and Ilya because they were talked about for trades while buff isn't

I don't think Buff should cost that much. But if he did, yeah it's because he is a valuable player to them. But not as valuable as PK is. And I really don't think he would be that valuable to us that I would give up Eller (a centerman with size who is still developing) plus a really sweet prospect for him.

It would be great to have that big body protecting Price. But that is too much.

Subban has more value than Buff, not a chance Gallagher is included.

If anything, it would be Buff + for Subban

Dyou guys think a deal around young dmen (beaulieu/Diaz/Emelin ect) some picks could get it done or would it just upset them?

Kings-Habs talking, according to Matt Barry, beat reporter for the L.A. Kings.

http:/www.hockeybuzz.com/blog/Matthe...-Out/125/49981

Unknown what or who they could talking about, possibly to make a deal.

Edit: Not entirely sure this guy is a credible source, so if anyone can fill me in that'd be great.

Don't dream in colour !

Could be more a big winger like King, Clifford or Nolan. ( hopefully not Penner )

Possibly, but isn't likely considering that Mitchell and Greene lost to injury, unless they can't sign him to an extension.
