I want to see some heart and fight in this team again. And as the mexican announcer says in the Canada/Mexico wbc brawl. "Los Uppercuts!"

What happened to wishing for their losing ways to continue so that maybe Tmac would get sacked?

McLellan expects #SJSharks Burns to get clearance to play tonight vs. STL - and he'll be on 3rd line w/23 and 15 plus power play time on D.

..lol.

backes, oshie

sharks shooting percentage as a team is second worst in the nhl, and over a full percent lower than the team above them. curious as to why you all think that is. www.sportingcharts.com/nhl/stats/team-shooting-percentage/2012/

Goalie would probably be easier, he wouldn't have to skate much at all. They should've started him in net.

Hahah wow.

If I'm trying to be objective, I'll try to say that Todd doesn't think Burns is skating well enough to play D, and is confident with the way the current D is playing. But then again I would wonder why he would even play Burns if he's not 100%.

Why not? Because it's stupid. He's a defensemen. He was signed as a defensemen, our defense for the future entirely depends on him. Let's confuse the crap out of an already struggling player by making him play out of position.

Todd McLellan has no idea what he's doing and is actively making things worse.

Let's wait a while before we talk about it messing up his development. He's been playing D for years now, a couple of games won't suddenly make him forget how to play D and it won't screw his development.

I'm in the minority, but I don't think this is necessarily a bad move. If it becomes a permanent basis, sure, but not if it's just for one or two games. The D has been playing pretty well without Burns (if you replace Murray with Demers), and Burns gets a little play time to get into game shape.
