Hiller I think won 2 games two November's ago... There's ups and downs... Once he gets going he's like a freight train.. I didn't think I would have to explain that to u being an experienced fan.. I was pretty surprised u dumped hiller so fast and it was a easy quote to remember... I could have chosen others to call out on hiller bashing, but I respect you more.

Maroon will probably never be a top 6 player unless he can improve his mobility. He is sloooow.

I agree with 2 games the hit was clean but being an Anaheim player = auto suspension
Hope we see more hitting by this team

There's been players like him who have but I agree slower than Parros.
Id like to see him get a chance on the 2nd pp unit

Maroon has looked faster as the season has gone on. If he can add a little more speed with some skating training he will be a legitimate top 6 player. Love his game.

Look at his stats in the minors...the guy has been a beast at the AHL level for like 4 years now. He should be playing the rest of the year on the 4th line

Hopefully DSP had a fire lit under his butt this year. Between his early poor play and the success of some of the other young guys, he (DSP) is pretty far down the depth charts to get back to the NHL on a permanent basis. He gave up his place in line and now that he's at the end of it, it's a pretty long line.

FWIW, TSN just picked up an AP story and ran with it. Check the byline. Not that they shouldn't be more responsible. But then almost all media sucks.

I see Maroon's upside as a potential David Clarkson type player. Decent hands, isn't afraid to go into the dirty areas and take punishment to get scoring change, and can handle himself in a fight.

He has okay speed in open ice once he gets going, like that hit he put on Gilbert on the forecheck before he scored. But his first step could use some work with Skahan.

Since day one, I've been very surprised with the love for Maroon. I do not see him becoming a productive NHL player on any line, maybe a 4th line grinder, but that's it.

I hope he proves me wrong.

It is deserved. He has looked like a completely different player this year. More physical, a nose for the net.

He's a good role-player. We haven't had one of those in a while. I don't see him as a high-end forward but I don't think he's a dime-a-dozen player either.

I feel pretty good abut Maroon. No way before the season i could have imagined he would score 2 goals ( i didn`t expect him playing). And it`s barely over half season.

Finally was ablo to actually watch a full game, and i was really happy what i saw from him (i assume he doesn`t look worse in other games). He wasn`t as slow as i thought and was playing physical. His speed and physicality gave him that goal... well, and that half-rink reach of his . He wasn`t afraid to drop the gloves either. So, yeah, happy for him! And the guy was just recently sent down, eto AHL just to earn a player of the week honor and came back. He also got his first NHL goal when his friends and family was visiting the game. A lot is going well for him this season. Would like to see a goal in Honda Center.

I think he was physical before thiss season also. The strong play against the boards, etc. THe difference this season, is in his speed, when he seems to be a little faster.

I'm watching the game. Etem and Cogs are an awesome tandem on the PK. I wouldn't be surprised if Etem's first goal ends up coming shorthanded.

Does anyone remember what we traded for Maroon? I think it was fairly cheap.

The question on him was more about if he could keep his act together rather than his ability. I'm glad he's having a successful year.
