Short memory? Boucher and Leighton took us to the finals in 2010. Boucher took us to the eastern conference finals in his rookie season. Boucher owns the record for the most consecutive shutout periods of Hockey while playing for a pitiful Coyotes team. Leighton had a helluva run until game seven of the finals against the Blackhawks in his first finals appearance.
Bryz got hammered for goals in last years playoffs, the only reason we got past Pitt was because we outscored them. Then NJ mopped us up. Check his stats he was horrible with the Coyotes in his last playoff stint also.
This team is forced to score four or more almost every game just to be in it because Bryz is so poor. He needs to go. I hate to say it but Leighton would be a better option
1. Leighton had a nice run in 2010 but in the end he's the reason why we didn't win the Cup.
2. What does Boucher setting a record on another team have to do with his play as a Flyer?
****ing Bryz man, some of these goals aren't his fault, but with a contract like that you should be able to expect some saves on goals he's given up. Paid like a top 5 goalie, playing like a **** goalie.
I know how much you love Bob, but how do you explain this? What do you think was WAY more saveable?
Bob played that right though. You expect the Jacket player to take Eriksson off his feet there. So you keep the ice sealed to protect against any unpredictable swats Eriksson might take at the puck. But Eriksson didn't get taken down soon enough and by the time Bob started moving to adjust for the changed angle it was too late. That was on the D more than Bob, though Bob certainly ended up looking goofy there.
