We sucked. Key is still that Dubnyk outplayed Varly big time tonight.

Up 4-0 with less than a minute to go and the Oilers have their best players on the ice trying to score a PP goal.

Thank God it's over. Boo them off the ice.

That was the best game of the season for Matt Hunwick. No bad giveaways like he usually does on a nightly basis and played pretty well defensively. I guess every dog does have his day.

The goalie version of O'Byrne with a 36 save shutout. GJ Aves.

Shelter Elliott's minutes, play the first two pairings 23 each and then the last one 14 but give him PP time, or if you don't like that than play Zanon he sucks the least out of the remaining three. Is that a bad roster? Absolutely not

One minute to go, with a 4-0 lead and Krueger puts out all his best players for the PP. MPS throws his head back three times like Mike Tyson punched him trying to draw a penalty with a 4-0 lead. Hall's takes an extra wack at Varly's glove for like the third time, when he's got it frozen in a 4-0 game.

The Avs better take note of these things and address them somehow the next game. Whether it's coming out fired up and winning the game or otherwise.

The time to address them was during this game. This team just wasn't ready to compete tonight.

I ****ing hate Sacco, but the players are to blame for these games.

Not at all. The coverage was beyond pitiful for our team. Effin 5'10" Eberle had all the time on a several occasions to just walk in front of the net and get a few good wacks.

1st goal: I thought it was pretty funny to be honest.

2nd goal: EJ trying to block a shot, while our 5'11" forwards had to try and tie up some sticks; both failed.

3rd goal: Watching MSP get past the street cones and have all the time in the world to bat it in.

The best player tonight was SoB.

I would seriously bag skate them with Sacco being apart of it.

There's a forgettable game if I've ever seen one. Avs just couldn't solve Dubnyk.

Yeah, not impressed by that roster. I see six decent players and a lot of AHL quality names filling the rest with zero veteran leadership.

Actually being at the game live makes a huge difference.

We aren't talking about this game, we're talking about San Jose.

SOB and Hunwick were the only two defensemen that looked decent.

EJ and Landy were absolutely awful. Landy's gaff probably ends up costing us the game as the team was playing very well before that. EJ looked like a goofball out there. Only play he made was on Hall during that 1 on 1.

On to Minny for a must win.

Oh, we would have gone above .500 with a win. That explains it.
