When I scout games in Ohio I always come across Toronto fans in Columbus to watch NHL games at a discount. None of them are fans of the Jackets, but the drive down isn't long, and to catch NHL games for $10 is worth the trip.

I'm a big believer in 'equality'. So I think this is good. Your hard earned money is going to other teams via 'league costs' also known as 'revenue sharing', so that the NHL can continue its broken business model -- and perhaps break it even more through 'league expansion'.

It has it's moments, but watching one player the entire game can get boring. Not to mention the drives. I've gained 20 lbs since I started years ago and my wife isn't too happy about it. Nonetheless overall it's a fun way to make a living.

The Leafs I can understand. The Raptors? Lol

A lot of people around here really do not grasp the concept of a supply and demand market.

This is like phone bill and cable model. To keep the stock dividend rising and stock price high they need to keep raising prices.

At least the Leafs have past success; what the hell kind of justification do the Raptors have?

Somewhere out there a Rogers or Bell executive is creating a chart demonstrating how profits have increased by 2.5%. A monkey can run this team.

Regardless of who runs this team, there would've been a price increase.

Us REAL fans need to pool the money we would spend on 1 game, rent a bus and storm Detroit or Buffalo next year. (I say Detroit)

I see Anselmi is up to his old tricks that he used to pull with TFC. Increasing ticket prices while decreasing team performance. Ask any TFC fan how they feel about him and you'll know what you're dealing with.

Just go catch some games at our second home in Ottawa. The atmosphere is great there.

It all depends who's playing. If you go to a Saturday games vs the Habs it's gonna cost a lot, but if you go to Leafs vs Florida on Saturday it's gonna be much cheaper.

Absolutely ****ing horrible. What have the Raps done to raise their ticket prices? If anything, they should lower them because the team hasn't won in years.

As for the Leafs, I'm not going to say anything because it may be taken as trolling, but I will say I don't think any team, including my Habs, should raise their prices the season directly after a lockout out of respect for the fans..

I guess the home opener lockout-apology tickets weren't so "free" after all....

I can sort of understand the Leafs, but the Raptors?! Raps fans have massively been loyal to a team that can't even aspire to being a treadmill team and any form of a raise is just a kick in the ass.

MLSE needs to pay for condominium skyscrapers.

Expect this behaviour to continue with Bell/Rogers calling the shots.

Yeahhh...I'll keep the tradition of only going to Raptors games if the tickets are free.

Leafs mehhh won't be going again any time soon. Would rather watch them on TV than pay that cost, unless they end up in the playoffs of course.
