Imagine when the guy announced as the new Pope goes up to the speaker, stunners him, grabs the microphone and rips his robe to reveal an upside down cross or some ****.

That would be amazing and I'm "Catholic".

Why would anyone go to a bar to discuss pokemon?

Go to a bar and discuss yoga positions, you'll likely get mocked too, ray.

Your example is useless. If you bring up posting on hf or playing Pokemon in conversation unless the other person responds with "so do I!" or something similar, you're not going to go on and on about all the posts you made, or all the Pokemon you caught.

So if you try and pick up a chick, you don't think hobbies at one point will come up as a topic of conversation? If you have to lie/hide it, that might give you a hint.

The games came before the anime and cards.

I don't play pokemon enough to consider it a hobby, I play for a few days when a new game comes out and then don't really touch it. I don't really see why it's such a big deal.

This assumption that discussing Pokemon's going to be all anyone talks about.

If I was at a bar picking up women I probably wouldn't tell them if I still play pokemon. Not something that would attract women to a 20 year old I think.

Yoga enhances what manly activities that I am able to do. I wouldn't be able to lift as much, or even as often as I do, without yoga.

There are numerous things about my life that I won't mention when I'm trying to wheel a girl at the bar.

Not necessarily. She can ask you what your hobbies are in a fashion that she wants you to list off a handful off, to see what you guys have in common. You going to mention that Pokemon is one of them if a pretty 22 year old girl asks you?
