+ We should trade for Brent Sutter, just because. He is now the Comeback Kid!
+ Whole Sutter family
+ King Koon makes **** happen
+ not giving up
+ defense

- whoever stepped onto the ice too soon and ****ed us early, thsi feels petty, but be better next time, guys

+My man crush on Kunitz. I knew he wasn't as bad as he was playing early in the year. Little did I know he'd be 2nd in the league in goals at this point in the season.

Can anybody imagine the fan reaction had we been on the other end of this, including putting out our 4th line for the final minute of the game?

Imagine is Kunitz didn't start the season off as hot garbage. He'd be leading in goals right now.

What a turnaround, Koon is freaking automatic.

Tale of two fan bases...read our GDT thread thru two periods ...then Boston's in the 3rd ( and now) .

Lesson is....fans overreact and think their team is one and done in the playoffs after a bad regular season loss.

Really encouraging game. It very well could have been 5-2. Neal had about 5 really good chances that usually gets him at least 2 goals.

+Big comeback..Character
+Kunitz and Dupuis forechecking
+Neal...He was hustling and getting good chances.
+DEFENSE...yeah, I said it....They only had 1 major oops.

=Fleury...1 somewhat soft goal, but very solid outside that one.

-No Geno?

Really not much to not like tonight.

+ a win vs Khudobin. I love that kid, but hate when my teams go against him cause he is so frustrating. Pens finally figured to go top left on him, plus it helps some bruins seemed lost in the final half of the 3rd.
+Sutter for taking advantage of those blubs

-PP, could've had the momentum sooner with Bergeron in the box.
-still would like to get more from the lower lines

And anoint their team cup champ in waiting in need of nothing for the playoffs after a sweet character regular season win . . .

Outside of the breakdown on their second goal, I really wasn't that unhappy with the Pens play in the first period. We created a ton of turnovers and were still figuring out how to break through the neutral zone. I thought the defense stiffened up after the 2nd goal. I was much happier with their overall effort and play in front of Fleury despite being down 2-0 the entire game (til 6:30 left that is).

+ Beau Bennett - there was a play where the B's where about to get the puck out of the zone on the wall and BB didn't pinch on the guy but held back and intercepted his pass to create a scoring opportunity. I almost yelled for him to hit the guy and then he made the play.

+ Sutter

- I really want Despres to be more of a fixture in the lineup. (Just my little hangup).

I keep watching the replay of Sutter's game winner. I have no clue where he found room there.

Sadly (while we all love his goal scoring), he will fall back to earth. No one can sustain a 28% shooting %. For the love of god, he's shooting at 50% in March. I will be happy just with the goals he already has. He is very hot now though. Just don't beat him up when he can't score on half of his shots in April.

what an intense game. i'm actually somewhat surprised how the Pens played against your Bruins later on. the Bruins are a tough team and it's nice to get a win against the best team in the East.
