I know this is going to sound very minor, but this team plays way better when Komarov is in the top 9.

Johnny and Komo in. How much worse could you want Holzer/Kostka to play for those 2 to slot in?

Did you miss that pass he made to Costco during the PP? Costco had 5 seconds all to himself, which he totally took, got himself to the side, and shot it right into Pavelec's glove.

Kadri was fine. He wasn't great, but his line generated some good chances.

That Mike Kostka sure is a superstar. He needs to play more. Especially on the PP.

I don't think he was "fine", but he wasn't the root of the problem. I agree with keeping him in though. Since we've established him as our #1, I say we let him try and get his confidence back. We lose these next 2 and yeah, then you pull him.

And this is an example of why we get mocked as Leaf fans. Their team is what, 3 points behind in the standings now?

No need to be like Montreal fans after that 6-0 win in here. Crappy game, a few different bounces in the 1st would have changed everything though. That 5 on 3 really deflated the team. Either the roster changes and we come back hard at them next time, or it'll be clear that it's the coaching staff that needs the change.

Our AHL defensemen are getting exposed now. Teams are taking advantage when these guys are on the ice.

I would either bring up Liles and show case him for the rest of the shortened season or Gardiner. Kostka or Holzer need to go down. One at least. Pref Kostka.

You do realize the Blue Jays aren't considered just "Toronto's" team, right? They get massive fan support when they play in Detroit, Minnesota, Seattle, Cleveland, etc.

OK. The best news is we dont have a back to back this week.

We can pull out of this spin and recover. I'd rather hit a slump with 20 something games left then with 5.

We'll be back. We'll recover.

Pretty horrible game... the physical presence of the leafs that controlled games early on no longer exists

LOL if bozak thinks he will get a contract north of 3 million a year.

#FreeJakeGardiner

Time to see what RC is made of, only 3 points up on 9th place with an an extra game played... yikes.

3rd ice time in a 2-goal game. Grabovski - 3:40, Orr - 4:38. Inexcusable coaching.

6-1-1 this season. Two of those wins were shutouts.
