1) This "streak" isn't going to continue if Hemsky is injured.
2) If its just the flu, it's ridiculously scary how an "off" Hemmer can still dent the scoresheet so easily.
3) Paaja is back. Great to see him swagger around with confidence.
I don't think anyone here caught it, but MPS threw a shoulder into Wilson's jaw just as the camera panned back up the ice. That's the reason a scrum was developing. Great move by MPS to stand up for himself
What? No kind words for Hall? Another 2 pt night for him...playing at a ppg pace now...not too bad.
I'd love it if somebody would take Belanger off our hands. Anybody need a so-called face-off man?
Hopefully we can ship him out before the trade deadline. If not we NEED to dish him then. The guy doesn't want to be here and is a total black hole for offense. This forward core is looking the best it has all season, I'd rather not break it up for le sulk.
Whats lost in this is the addition of Brown and what a role player he actually is ... honestly a great trade im not ready to say good job tambo but not bad trade at all
The thing I was really impressed with is after the 2nd time the Avs went after Hall, Brown goes out with Hall the very next shift. It's nice to have a guy who we can actually put out and provide a little insurance without spending the whole shift 10 seconds behind the play. I was wanting him all year, and even I didn't think he'd be looking this good
Let's hope they can continue or we will all be back on our medication in no time. I am happy about MPS starting to show some progress. He was the guy I really wanted to see take a step forward when the season started.
So many positives tonight, and it was nice to see the same lines roll out all game with the exception of Hemsky leaving early. Other than the usual suspects, I want to mention Yakupov, Brown and Potter. Yakupov is having so much fun out there, and even when he's not scoring, you still notice him out there throwing his body around and making plays. Brown is probably the best "import" bottom 6 forward that we've found since Glencross. I remember when Glencross was acquired, I really noticed him early and he seemed like a difference maker, I get that same feeling from Brown, but to a lesser extent. Potter was safe out there and made the right plays, not sure who comes out for Fistric, Whitney's been much better, so I think Potter is still the odd man out even though he's faired well lately.
