It's only a matter of time before someone perfects goalie stats adjusted for team possession/PK efficiency and creates GOALIE WAR. My guess is that's what Gillis meant a few years ago when he said people would judge goalies differently in the future.

If it forces the Canucks to play good hockey then I'm all for it.

I'd like it if it was Colorado considering they play an entertaining style. I don't believe the Wild should be rewarded for their boring style of play. Teams like them are what make the Western conference almost unwatchable

6 goals no longer entertaining in this league apparently? Too bad some teams do actually know how to play defense.

I'm not sure you'd be able to comprehend what a good game is considering you watch Wild games primarily. Goals don't mean anything. It's about the flow of play and speed. Not what the Wild do with their dumping in and then interfering and stick work when the other team comes back up.

The Wild know how to play D and how to make sure that nobody outside of their fans will ever watch their games.

Dump and chase is a system played by 2/3 of the league. I'll take my strong D and my division leads. I don't care if we win every game 2-1. It's all about the W's.

Yeah it's weird how Minny fans seem to have no idea how terrible their team is to watch. Seriously, who watches a Wild game unless their own team happens to be playing them?

Even then it's hard not to claw your eyes out.

Chicago is one of the best defensive teams in the league, yet somehow they're also extremely entertaining. Impossible!

The last time you won the division, Gaborik was leading you and the Wild got the highest season GF in team history; the next year after he was traded you finished 9th in the conference and never recovered.

Halfway into a lockout-shortened season may be a trifle premature to be touting a sustainable renaissance and the plural use of the term "division leads"...

Yah, at the very least, the poster should wait until they actually retake the lead before they start gloating about their division lead(s).

Indeed is is all about the Ws. Something the Wild have not been getting year after year. If you guys ever do win the division again, I hope you enjoy that banner raising ceremony like last time

Cougar has a point IMO. As long as the hometown team is winning, whether they be boring or very entertaining, fans will show up to the games.

James Wright scores! Jets tie it at 1-1.

2-1 Jets. w00t! C'mon Toronto, keep sliding all the way out of the playoff picture. It's that time of year again, after all.

2-1 Jets now! They deserve this lead, been dominating the Leafs so far in the second.

Leafs are awful. Pure domination by the Jets in the second. 3-1 with Wheeler scoring.
