I downloaded it a few months ago to rewatch because I had forgotten a lot of it.

I got about 8 minutes in.

Yeah - the gas station scene in the beginning basically sets the tone for the entire movie. And let's not forget to mention Jamie Kennedy....ugh....

Speaking of forbidden love stories, the Great Gatsby looks phenomenal.

For good luck, gently, but firmly, cup your manhood through the duration. This works.

Somebody "found" a lot of "valuable" magic cards in a safe, but I doubt that was the same guy. It would be easy for me to click twice and check my facts, but by saying that I'm communicating that I know what you're talking about and we're all sharing a common experience.

I find it hard to believe that there would be anything interesting inside that original guy's buddy's safe. I'd hope to find that the safe was hiding a secret door to Narnia or an underground labyrinth of danger and mystery. Maybe the large safe was decoy and there is a briefcase full of money and blow stashed away in a hole on the other side of the basement.

Already starting to look again. I think the writing is on the wall -- I get no positive press at work and I've had two things go to senior people in the last six months. The perception of me seems to be purely negative. I would welcome severance at this point.

Just after I have surgery.

I really wish I had something to help you with a new job search. If you were a programming, totally. Strictly systems guy, yeah.

Though not sure how helpful I could be. My recommendation would be: "Yeah I haven't seen his actual work, but he made a reaaaally awesome point last week about Cody Hodgson."

But seriously, I swear I've asked you like 3 times before, but I always forget. What's your focus and what's your areas of comfort?

Bored? We should make Pokemon cards for each other:

Chain
Type: Grass (occasional vegetarian)
Power: 1,000,000 (global moderator)
Evolution: None (Charashot doesn't count)
Moves:
1. Strong involved parent.
2. Suffering IT servant.

Clock
Type: Electric
Power: 50,000
Evolution: Rew ==> Clock
Moves:
1. Shoulder flex.
2. Afino stomp.
3. Note: In battle with PK, Clock must surrender manhood.

I appreciate the comment.

That said, right now I'm working in the wonderful world of software licensing and compliance. I hate it. I. HATE. It. I'm pretty clear this is no longer going to be my focus. I'm the subject matter expert for an off-shore team that supports our US operations as well as being general whipping boy for support issues in terms of SMS delivered software. I used to be site support -- desktop, telephony, network -- not a programming, database or server guy. Having had no reimbursement for external training, I haven't looked outside of my own little piece of hell, err work which is on me. At this point, I hate working on tech.
