At least you can tell Harrington where to go and fend off his "where's your journalism degree from?" defense.

Only missed a single putt from inside 20 feet all day, and he BARELY missed that one. He was definitely rolling today.

Gotta love the idiot who gives me a neutral eBay review on an item I specifically said "is size 54 but fits like a 52" saying "it's a 52"... Proceeds to negatively score my eBay feedback. So I have 11 perfect and one neutral now, but it pretty much withholds me from being paid for other items now. For instance... Sold something else a week ago and the guy JUST paid for it. So I guess I'll ship it Monday because Sunday the mail doesn't work. But it says I'll have the funds in my Paypal like... A month later. What is that?

I had some ducks come up from the creek and decide to have a union meeting at 5am right outside my bedroom window. This of course caused both cats to lose their minds trying to decide what they wanted to do more; watch the ducks, or fight with each other.

After a 6 hour drive back from Boston, this did not amuse me.

My (girlfriend's) dog, tore through the screened-in porch "wall" on Saturday night to chase off a swan. Scared the **** out of me...

The house I grew up in used to be on the waddle-path for nesting geese. During their molt, they would walk from pond to pond with their brood, right across the lawn. One pair had 19 little ones with them one morning -- great way to wake up. Not so great if one wants to sleep.

I can only imagine the poop...everywhere.

Luckily for us, we have geese fences up by the water, so they don't venture into our yard. But they do fly over our house a lot (loudly) so I think we probably have some flyby residual poop.

I normally don't get them up by the house, although occasionally in the summer I'll wake up to 2 or 3 going for a swim in the pool. They usually stay down by the creek.

My son's hockey season and probably his hockey "career" came to an end yesterday and in typical fashion, it was a loss. The kicker? He wasn't upset with the loss since they struggled back from a 4-1 deficit to make it 6-5 late in the game rather than blowing a lead and losing like they'd done almost every other game this season. I do feel for the coach and some of the players though -- it's two years in a row without a win.

Considering where I grew up, most of the poop was in the fields and the rest went into fertilizing the lawn.

If anyone is interested in helping out a really, really great cause: April 27th is the Walk A Mile In Her Shoes fundraiser. Participants form teams and walk a mile in high heels - even (especially) men. If you have a business, you can also be a sponsor. It's a huge party with contests and food trucks, and all of the proceeds go to helping victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Erie County.

If you have any questions, let me know!

I had a busy, fun weekend with the kids.

On Saturday, it was Hockey Day in Brockport as my son's Squirt B team had their last day of the season with a tourney game in the morning, skills comp at lunch time, and a game at night.

We lost the first game, did great at the skills comp with our kids winning hardest shot, accuracy shooting, and the relay race [I want a recount as we won 3 of 4 events yet didn't win overall....], and then we lost the last game to the eventual champions.

I played in a coaches game in the afternoon. I played half the game in goal, didn't let one past me, and my team won 4-2.

The day ended with some good pizza from a local pizza joint.

Yesterday was cool, too.

First I went to CF for a mobility class to loosen up my old, tight self.

Then my mom bought the kids a lot of new kicks. My oldest got new all purpose sneakers and a new pair of slides. My younger son got baseball cleats and new all purpose sneakers (with his favorite color of purple on them!). And my daughter got new light up graffiti sneakers and Hello Kitty flip flops.

Then my mom got baseball gloves for me and my older son to play catch with his brother who is switching from soccer to baseball this summer.

My mom also brought a glove for my daughter.

We played catch when we got home and that was a blast.

It was a great weekend.

I'm just really sad about hockey being over. I'll miss seeing the kids on their mom's weekends at hockey....

Oh yeah, this was cool, too:
