Gamecenter while traveling

I know in market games are blacked out on Game Center. Does this apply if I am traveling?

If it's being televised where you are travelling it does.

When I traveled a lot for work I teamed Game Centre with this:

Because a lot of hotels didn't have the channel carrying the game.

Not sure if it still works, but my recollection is that if you change your billing address to some random address in Ontario, the Oilers games are no longer considered local and you can view them all (until the Oilers play in Ontario).

Edit: Now that I think about it, that trick might have been for NHL Centre Ice, but you may find that it works out the same way.

Second Edit: In the case of Centre Ice with Bell, the trick was to set your physical location to Ontario or Quebec, but leave a billing address at your real address in Alberta. Blackouts are based on where the satellite receiver is physically located.

There are a number of VPN's and similar servicies to view whatever game, wherever you are. Mine costs 5 bucks a month, and is also just plain useful as a VPN for everything.
