Not opposed to giving up Kennedy, but very opposed to adding to it with a top D prospect. Clowe is a ufa and hasn't played well this season. This should be a no from Pittsburgh. I might give a second or third and Kennedy, but no more.

Would probably do that. Maybe add a 2nd/3rd coming back to Pittsburgh.

Kennedy has not played well either, both players value is pretty low but I think the Pens need that size and toughness for the playoffs, and Harrington is ranked 5th or 6th in the pens d prospects.

Is he really ranked 5th or 6th? You know that how exactly? Some might have him 2nd. You have no idea.

Kennedy at least you have control over him since he is a RFA, not a UFA. Our D prospects should be dealt in a package to secure a long term solution, not a third line rental.

Kennedy and a second or third is PLENTY for Clowe IMO.

Need neither Kennedy nor Harrington.

If we're giving up Clowe, it's for a speedy forward.

"[The Sharks] are not shopping Clowe, they are listening to interest," said Dreger. "This is a big ticket type of trade; you're talking about a first round draft pick or two seconds, you're talking about a prospect player, and maybe another component as well just to get the Sharks listening."

The sharks would like to resign Clowe. If he moved expect a bigger return than the OP. I highly doubt the sharks move him as they value him higher than people are gonna pay.

oohh i didnt see him ranked that high i was thinking Pouliet, Despres(if he still is a prospect), Morrow, Matta, Damoulin,

your right though it would be more to secure a long term top 6 fw rather than a ufa, thanks buddy

Agreed. I like the idea of keeping Harrington/Maata then Morrow/Pouliot together. They are all familiar with each other and that can hopefully translate to the AHL then NHL.

No interest in trading Harrington in a package for a rental unless the rentals name is Iginla.

The make it Dumoulin, or I haven't any interest.

Clowe doesn't have huge value, but I'm sick and tired of seeing scrap proposals for him. I don't even like Clowe, I've been advocating that he be traded for over a year, but he won't be for someone like Tyler ****ing Kennedy.

Pretty sure he said a first or 2 seconds, a prospect, and maybe something else.

Would TK, Kuhnhackl and a 1st for Murray and Clowe work, assuming that the Sharks continue to play poorly? That essentially breaks down to TK for Murray and a 1st and Kuhnhackl for Clowe.

If this is the best offer we get, I'd have no problem trading Clowe for that package.

Well you sir have just talked yourself into a straight Clowe for Kennedy trade. Both are playing like garbage anyway. I don't believe the Pens would overpay and move a D prospect they actually like for a 3rd/4th liner.
