Winter "Spare the Air" days improving air quality

http://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local...201552491.html

Bay Area winter "Spare the Air" days take aim to reducing particulate matter, especial wood burning fires. Winter fires account for as much as 28% of particulates produced (for a single source); vehicle emissions are about 32%.

Seems to be working. (But with so many variables of weather, etc., hard numbers aren't so apparent. But trends continue downward.)
