On the bright side if Habs beat the Sens in OT or SO, that brings Toronto that much closer to 9th place (NJD also winning).

One game is not the end of the world....
Thing is, it's not just one game. He's been average lately. And even in some wins, I've seen him battling the puck way more. And I've seen him play too deep in his crease. My main "problem" with him is that he does seem to battle with the mental part of the game again. Still young....needs some time....but I can't imagine if, for example, we have to replace him yet again in the playoffs for example.

We finished 15th last year this team ability to compete for 48 games or 82 games is not yet a sure thing.

All I'm saying is that this game is really not looking good for the habs right now and old demons can come back. If we were the Pittsburgh penguins I wouldn't be worried right now.

Heh. The ref actually used a hockey stick to signal a hooking penalty.

Emelin can play on the PP if he promises to slap it and not wrist it.

DD is working incredibly hard and it's showing. Pacioretty isn't playing the best, but he's always dangerous and Gallagher is awesome. I love this line.

I just wish we could have Bourque back already (even if Dumont has played well).
I would never say that DD doesn't work hard. He definitely is. If anyone doesn't appear to be on that line, it's Max. I've been incredibly underwhelmed by this line lately. Not like any of the lines are playing great tonight, though.

Habs need to score on this PP.. The refs will give the Sens a PP before this game ends.

Sens strategy without Spezza + Karlsson is like us under Martin: trap with a lead, make comeback if down, play for lucky break or win in OT or SO. If that fails, still collect loser point. God we musta been frustrating to play from 2009-11 haha.
