On the subway it's a hop skip and a jump from my apartment. I'll be there.

Great to hear Blackhawks bars are outside the Chicago metro area. Someplace for me to go next time I visit NY.

Wonder if they contacted the Blackhawks to register as an official Blackhawk bar and get free promotional Blackhawk bar items or if the Blackhawks still do that.

As a Rangers/Hawks fan from Upstate NY, id love to open a Ranger bar in Chicago, but that aint happening.

I dont even think there are any NY bars in Chicago.

Good to see Chicago sports has its own bar in Brooklyn though, now.

Probably not. A lot of bars affilate with a Big Ten school and then that state's pro teams so you see a lot of MSU or UM Wings/Tigers/Lions bars or OSU Bengals/Browns bars, etc. Can't think of any bars off the top of my head with east coast affiliation.

Maybe they can also market to Maryland & Rutgers, and be the BIG TEN bar in NYC.

Friar Tuck is a Red Sox bar. Justin's is a KC Chiefs bar, not that KC is east coast. I know there is a Steelers bar as well.

Racine Plumbing Bar and Grill is a NY bar, in Lincoln Park. Giants, Rags, Knicks, Yankees, and Notre Dame. No Mets.

Wish there were a Hawks bar down here. The one Chicago bar we have use to be good, but they've butchered the food beyond belief lately, and it it's not even edible anymore. The inside just screams of fakeness. Do have a few decent hockey bars down here, though.

Well there ya go. Surprised my buddy the Yankees fan hasn't discovered that yet.

Yeah, typically it's Yanks/Giants/Rangers all together, then Mets/Jets/Isles. Not a rule, just pretty common to be a fan of 1 of the groupings, so it's not surprising that the other 3 aren't involved.

True... Not even sure why I mentioned the Mets.

I've never been inside that place, and try to avoid Lincoln Park in general, but I've walked by it and seen the Giants flag out. No idea how the crowds are when a game is on.

Yep, we brew it (Utica).

Also, Utica Club is like our Old Style, and Saranac is another big one. Tons of different seasonal styles and such.

As far as local food goes, its mostly Italian like Chicken Riggies, Tomato Pie, Greens, certain styles of pizza (sauce on top), etc.

The food is the only good thing about the area.

A New York sports bar themed with that would be nice.

Raised a Yankee fan, dont care anymore.

Im a Cubs fan now actually. Your version of the Rangers play at Wrigley Field, minus a recent championship.

Rangers come first though. I do like the Giants. **** the NBA.

Deja Brew on 95th street in Oak Lawn DHF...

The best southside Hawks bar you will find. If the Hawks are on and the Bulls are on, the Hawks gets #1 treatment, and I love that. Place is loaded with Hawks stuff on the walls, and always have specials for games as well..

nice mixed crowd, dont deal with a lot of ****** bags...decent food and a big bar...if you havent been there, give it a try man, we are usually up there getting loaded on Thursdays!!
