Mike Cammalleri to NSH

I know I've posted this before but as the deadline approaches I wanted to test it again and see if some things have changed. IF the Flames are sellers at the deadline, what would it realistically take to get Mike Cammalleri.

Fellow Preds fans will probably hate on me some more for this but I just don't buy in that he couldn't help the team.

I'm open to changes so don't kill me here.

To CGY:
Blum
2nd

To NSH:
Cammalleri

Could add SK from NSH standpoint and throw in a pick (a 3rd or so) if the above isn't enough. But if CGY sells Blum is a young d-man that could possibly step in and play.

I'd say that's a ton to give up for Cammalleri

could do a Kostitsyn for Cammalleri swap.

Last time I posted this Flames fans were killing me for an overpayment for Cammy.

I would actually do this trade. Conditional on Bouwmeester moving, of course.... we'd have a glut of defensemen if we didn't.

I'd see if there's a way to add from Calgary's side to bump that NSH 2nd to a 1st. I think that would be more up Calgary's alley if they decide to move our 2nd best forward.

Good proposal, however. Well done.

I'd take Stempniak and Cammy for Blum and a first. Good for both sides pending you move a d-man of course.

Perfect.

Moving a defensemen shouldn't be a problem. The Flames can move Butler somewhere else for a 2nd or 3rd round pick, Babchuk for a conditional 7th at the deadline, and Sarich if there's team interested.

Does Nashville have a 1st this year? I would think that Flames would be happy with a 1st for Cammy. Thats essentially higher than what they acquired him for.

Believe so. I'd be fine with that but this is a good draft so I'm kinda unsure, but I'm not on the whole rebuild train like some Preds fans.

If you'd move your 1st for him I'd load him in my civic and drive him down for you. I've always wanted to see Nashville anyways.

In a year that looks increasingly like we may actually have a top 10, if not higher pick, giving away 1sts and 2nds for relatively low-impact players like Cammalleri and Stempniak seems like it would be a poor choice.

I shouldn't care that much, but I actually really want this to happen. I'm a fan of Cammalleri and Nashville, so I think it would be cool to see him there. Certainly bring some offensive skill to the mix. Him and Erat on the PP together would be fun.

I hear the bar scene in Nashville is a lot of fun.
