im gonna assume the 09-10 caps we're one team, who is the other?

If it's true......Danny must have read my thread about him. (probably not)

Hopefully he reads my new one on the 4th line.

I got it wrong, 5th highest. My mistake.

09-10 Caps (3.88GPG)
06-07 Sabres (3.76GPG)
05-06 Senators (3.83GPG)
05-06 Wings (3.72GPG)
12-13 Penguins (3.70GPG)

That would all but guarantee a win for 27 other teams. This one, I don't know. I just want to see Depres play. It would be huge if Depres AND Bortz are in the lineup. I can dream, right?

How likely is it Fleury craps the bed tonight, even if he's 3-1 in his last 4 he doesn't have a .900+ sv % among them.

I'd be more worried about the PK than Fleury.

So out of them the team that went farthest in the playoffs were the Sabres right?

Yeah, although the Wings were an unbelievable team that year. Somehow got swept by the Prongered-up Oilers. Sabres were decimated on the blueline the next year too or else they'd have likely made it past the EC.

No argument. I said how likely is it given his recent GAA, and given that they've already given up 9 goals in two games to the leafs. Or does GAA only matter when it favors our goalies?

Key word is the goals THEY'VE allowed, not just Fleury.

You can't purely blame Fleury for the goals. You just can't.

That's a bigger argument to be had, I was solely commenting on a let down game from Fleury, which he is prone to.

Here is why stats watching sucks, especially for goalies. I'm sure we can all agree that Patrick Roy is one of the top 2-3 goalies of all time, maybe even #1. Now, his career save percentage is 26th all time. That is how the stats lie!

Perhaps this proves how internet forums, stat sheets on the web, and fantasy leagues have ruined the average fan's view on what makes a good player. Back then that stuff didn't exist, so you had a better appreciation of the game by simply watching instead of worrying about numbers.

Dunno, is that the Sens team that made the Cup Finals?
