God Damnit Redden. Better than the 2 on 1 that was about to develop. We NEED this kill.

Agreed. Schwartz does so many of the "little" things which make him so valuable and full of potential. People don't acknowledge those kinds of plays enough.

Why can't The Blues skate the puck over the blue line on the PP? Dump and chase loses possession way too often.

I was cracking up when Schlemko got his 3rd penalty. His face was priceless. I wish I could have heard what he was thinking.

Amen to that! Stewart is proving a lot of haters wrong from last season (including me) and I will be the first to admit I was wrong.

He's come a long way. If the Blues let McDonald walk and stick with Sobotka at third line center, I could see him getting at shot at the #4 C job next year. It's a shame he doesn't really have the foot speed/short area quickness to contribute on the PK.

I wouldn't mind a 4th line of Porter-Cracknell-Reaves.

That way, even if we don't get a #1 center, we're still big all the way up the middle.

EDIT: Not to mention Lehtera possibly being in the mix.

"Strickland: Puck continues to find Stewart"

Haha you know he is eating his words right now. I'm done getting pissed. There are and will also be idiots in the world that believe the most ridiculous things.

I'm keeping my expectations for Lehtera at zero for the moment, simply because it seems like an awful lot of things are going to have to fall in place for that to work out.

With that said, it would be quite the boon to the organization if he came over and showed enough to grab the #3 C job next year. It would facilitate moving Steen back to wing (which basically mitigate the loss of McDonald should he choose to part ways), while retaining three legitimate scoring lines at minimal financial cost to the organization. That would simplify the Blues offseason a great deal, IMO.

Ouch, that looks like it got under the helmet of Moss. Hope he's alright. Eyes looked a little glazed there.

That was a smart penalty to take there. He probably would've slid it around Allen.

EDIT: I really like Boedker. He just tried to get too cute with that drop pass.

Another key penalty kill. Let's kill it off and get the momentum back!
