Haha the way they respond to **** they sure seem like robots.

If they can't see the picture from the other side of frustrated fans who pay a lot for these millionaires to play a game then they can go poind salt simple as that. They deserve every bit of "mocking" that a paying fan wants to give.

Alright I'll play devils advocate. They finish ahead of the Oilers and then what is supposed to happen in your world...?

Do you propose a straight across trade of our team for theirs?

...wait are you referring to the Islanders team that has been rebuilding for longer than the Oilers?

Yes I do believe that's who you're referring to so I ask what's your point?

Is that also the same Islanders team that had players refuse to play for them but then realized it was play for the Isles or don't make NHL money?

They said he'll be back for the playoffs, so ya I assume he'll be recovered by July.

Lets play guess who said it

"You can call it whatever you want, but it's not a beach," he told reporters. "A beach is somewhere in the Caribbean, somewhere in Florida where it's warm and you can swim. Here is dark water."

From the article you posted:

Quote:
The team initially hoped to have the 32-year-old forward back in time for the post-season, but Wild general manager Chuck Fletcher announced just before Minnesota hosted the Chicago Blackhawks that Heatley won't return this spring.

Rumor has it ownership made Holmgren make that deal, so if anything he's probably smiling because next time they step in he can tell them to back off.

Jagr is really fitting in in Boston. Another point tonight: An early assist.

Has he passed Lemieux in career points yet? Pittsburgh is going to blow a gasket when that happens.

Minnesota has 3 goals in the last 4 games... And they all came in the same game. Ouch.

If Bryzgalov is bought out, I wouldn't mind the Oilers bringing him in at a reasonable rate for a couple to few years. The guy seems like he can play, he's just stuck in Philly where they eat goalies alive. Patrick Roy in his prime seems like he would struggle there.

Montreal to the playoffs. Regardless of what you think, after picking Galchenyuk, that's a hell of a turn around. Happy for that franchise.

It's amazing what can happen when an organization demands better and people are held accountable for their failures.

Or finding the right coach for your players. Therrian was seen as a hard ass, but so far, he's gotten the best out of his guys, and used both rookies and veterans.

Could've-been-had-for-free center Jokinen with 5 points in 3 games in Pittsburgh.

Andrei Markov's health is accountability now?

Again, one player doesn't make a team and he certainly didn't fix the "small and timid" problem that the Canadiens had last year. There's a different swagger about that organization now.

I'll agree, there Organization does have that, however that one player, likely does make maybe just a slight difference

2011/12 Markov - 13gp, 18:00 mins/game, total 234:00 Minutes spent on the Ice for the Habs

2012/13 Markov - 40gp, 24:24 mins/game, total ~976:00 Minutes spent on the Ice for the Habs

If you think getting that much more contribution from a player who's that good doesn't make a significant impact, then you may be ignoring something. See the Flyers sans Pronger.

MTL also had a season with relatively no health concerns. They had plenty of injuries last year.
