Yeah I just don't know where guys fit. I'm more of a fan of Clutter on the 4th line than on the 3rd. Just don't like his ability down low/on the boards compared to our other 3rd/4th line guys.

4th line is dynamite. I hope we keep Rupp/Mitchell for as long as possible Konopka's great in his role too.

I'm just not a huge fan of the Heatley/Brodz/Clutter line.

Cullen/Seto are dynamite whoever they are with.

Coyle's growing on me a lot the kid is going to be a serious player in a few years. He's so strong down low and guys just can't knock him off the puck. Serious speed for a relatively big dude.

Koivu/Parise are Koivu and Parise.

Take Heatley out, put Butch on the 3rd line and Zucker back on the 2nd.

Sounds like I missed a good game tonight.

I'm not sure I like that line though. I like Heatley too no matter what other people say. I'm not a big Clutterbuck fan.

I'd much rather run Bouchard/Brodz/Heater out there. I think that'd be a pretty dominant third line. Or move Heater up to the top line and Run Bouchard/Brodz/Coyle as your 3rd line.

No, Keep Coyle where he is. The top line gets a lot more chances and a lot more offensive zone time period with Coyle there instead of Heatley.

No. There is already a Norris thread. Just put it in there. A new thread will just get merged anyway. Plus, it'll jinx him!!!!!!!

The guy is playing phenomenal right now, I see no reason why he won't be a possible Norris candidate if he keeps this up. You just hate seeing any Wild-related thread on the main board because people will bash us. Everyone gets bashed, it happens. At least I'm making a positive main board thread rather than a negative one.

Just post it in the thread that already is there talking about the Norris. No need at all for a new thread.

Besides, Fel will probably just merge 'em.

Bouchard had a pretty good game. Overall was a good game, they need to be more solid in some places but it was good.

Heatley once again showed no effort. He has no hustle, he is very slow and isn't putting pucks in the net. Not only that, he is -10 and has a 7.5M salary. I don't see how he helps this team at all especially when he pays that much for that kind of money they could have a much better and more dedicated player.

How awesome would it be to see Suter lead the league in points for a defenseman and just to see all those haters have to eat crow. But, they'll probably still say his contract wouldn't be worth scoring the most points in the league from the blue line.

I'd say yes, but I think this team is finding itself with a good problem for once of not having enough room for everybody. Still think his days here are numbered.

Sorry, Fel.

like who. in what universe do you see any scenario where we could have traded Havlat for someone better, with fewer years on his contract. edit: oh, and his salary really isn't $7.5...that's his cap hit.

btw i agree he's been slow and ineffective. that third line has been the place where everyone goes to die.
