Jake Allen first career shutout

28 saves for Allen's first shutout of the year. Caught a couple breaks with the post but a solid performance against the Yotes. Grats to the kid!

Congrats to him. He was given an opportunity this year because Halak got hurt and Elliott was awful and he's ran with it. 7-1 record now.

Been extremely impressive and has helped the Blues get out of their funk. He's left no choice for Hitch but to play him again on Saturday against the Ducks.

I would love for it to be Allen. Franchise even. You don't see that often enough anymore with many players.

Jackman so far looks like he will do it though. Unless he want's a cup at the end of his career and pulls a Modano.

We should probably wait a few years before declaring anyone on a hitch team a number one. I'm just hoping he's not Steve Mason 2.0.

Congrats to him. Blues fans what do you think is going to happen with your goaltending situation? Halak and Elliott with another year left on their deals and Allen is an RFA.. Something's gotta give. I'm assuming Allen will stay.. is he ready to be a #1?

I think Elliott is the one that would most likely be moved and run with Halak and Allen next season.
