There are nights where you play better than the other team and still lose, this was one of them. I really hope we're not in the midst of another patented Leaf second half cliff dive. But they deserved better tonight, at least.

Here comes the yearly slide....I just can just feel it gaining momentum. You know you're not in a good spot lately when games like this slip away. Wowww...

Also, go away Holzer. I've had it with this guy.

How many points for outplaying a team but losing.

2nd is the first loser

Yup. The 18 wheeler collapse is on. I don't give a **** how many people want to call me out for being a negative nancy. That was classic Leafs and this is last season all over again.

Both goals were Holzer's fault.

First goal he gets manhandled by Kunitz, Kunitz passes to Crosby, he passes to Duipus. GOAL!

Second goal, he goes to the front of the net, screens Scrivens, then goes on to try and block the shot, goal! Scrivens never saw it.

Not watching the game but let me see if I have this correct:

Leafs play a solid defensive game for the first 40 mins, they bring their physical game and legs. Then the 3rd comes, they stop skating and putting in an effort, the other team comes back with 2 quick strikes to put the game away, how am I doing so far?

Deserving for such a stupid fanbase. Neither goal was Holzer's fault, just looking for a scapegoat.

We deserved better fate than that. That's the sign of good team like Pens and having a game breaker like Crosby who you can count on coming through. We don't have a player we can count on like that to get us that goal.

Fluery won that for the Pens, Leafs couldn't get a bounce and the few mistakes cost them .. Heartbreaking

Is it to much to ask to make the playoffs once in a decade? Is it?

Sick of this BS play. We can't hold a lead or score on the powerplay. We deserved this loss.

The story of the Toronto Maple Leafs is inept management and incredibly bad luck. I'll file tonight's loss into the second category.

BTW, did anyone really think Leo was going to score on that breakaway? Ugh.

Holzer basically screened Scrivens as he went down to 'block' that shot. Awesome.

This one really ****ing hurt. Especially the last goal, we could've tied it up if they kept the puck in or SHOT IT INSTEAD OF LOOKING FOR THE ****ING EXTRA PASS
