You've got it bang on.

Coaching and goalies have kept the sens slightly above water. And all players respecting the coaching staff and working their butts off.

MacLean turned the entire system around when Karlsson went down.

Meaning, he changed the actual gameplan/system when Karlsson got hurt and everyone bought in? Or he changed the culture, so to speak? Thanks in advance.

about 50% of the sens gameplan pre-karlsson-injury was "give the puck to karlsson".

a lot had to change in order for the sens to continue to be a playoff team, and that's all on macstache.

got it. Thanks. Good to see a coach getting appropriately recognized for doing a good job, too. Doesn't happen often enough. We're so quick to point to coaching flaws that we rarely take the time to point out when coaches have success in various instances.

Such is the life of a HC in the NHL, though. Comes with the territory, I guess

That'd be Jake Voracek for the Flyers.

Habs: No single player. This has been a team effort through and through.

For Buffalo?: its easy, look the ."Good PP" wen Hodgons is on ice and than look wen Vanek is on ice.
Vanek=6 Goals 3 Assist
Hodgosn=0 Goals 0 Assist............
Vanek is MVP 2x 5 Point Games.+4 the only Forward from Line 1.and 2.who have Positiv plus/Minus assessment! look PP overall points -Vanek 9 from 11 Points...Vanek=Sabres Offens.
Hodgons has qualitiy time but in moment he is not the best Player on the Team. sorry.

Ribiero would be the runaway winner if not for the occasional costly penalty. But after him, it's Eric Fehr.

Also, I'm sick of people mentioning a cosch.

Stamkos or Hedman... but the team is bad so the point is moot.

I like how you are trying to discredit my opinion of our team's MVP by mentioning the flag next to my name. That does not suit you.

I find Pominville to have been far more important to Vanek's early success than Hodgson. his smells too much of a "what have you done for me lately" kind of post. I stand by my choice.

The team actually plays more intelligent when Karlsson isn't in the line-up. Before they tended to dish the puck to him every chance they got, even when he was in a bad spot and they had all the time and space in the world, now they actually make better judgements.

Oilers:

1) Gagner
2) Paajarvi
3) Hall

Paajarvi started slow but has been on fire lately and led this team through the 9 game road trip.

Despite the slow start, Kessel. His playmaking has been as important as his goal scoring. Doubt we are in the playoff hunt right now without him.
