Not overly optimistic going into tonight's game. I'm trying to break this negative feeling I have but I think we come back down to reality tonight. We've had two good games but this is still a very poorly built team with many holes that will likely be exposed tonight.

At least RNH shouldn't have to go head to head with Datysuk tonight now that Horcoff is back. You don't know what you have until it's gone.

Amazing GDT!

And I love the defense pairs. Fistric and Nicky Schultz should be an amazing bottom pair. And with Whitney's improved play of recent, maybe our top pair will look good. Forward lines look well balanced...let's just hope the boys show up to play three periods of hockey tonight.

The last game I called a few things correctly. I estimated an Edmonton win, with them scoring 4 goals, lead by Horc and Dubnyk. I also mentioned it being the start of a win streak of roughly 6 games. I'm hoping my predictions help the team continue this win streak I've envisioned.

In tonights game I think it's Nuge's turn to show his leadership. He's going to take his linemates aside and put out the game plan: "Alright boy's, we have to think big picture tonight. No more shooting for the sake of shooting - from here on out, we shoot ourselves in the foot!"

Confused, Hall asks for clarity, "Isn't that basically what we did when we were losing? I don't think I'm following you..."

"Don't you get Hallsy? Come on, you have to think bigger picture!"

"Shooting ourselves in the foot is a negative thing... isn't it?"

"Only when you let it be young Taylor. What I'm saying, is we pretend that every shift is a test, and that if we don't dominate on our shift, we will get shot in the foot."

Hall looks blankly between Hopkins and Eberle.

"God damn it Taylor! Don't you get it? We'll play better if we believe we'll get shot if we don't play well. Or maybe the coach will just slash our faces with razor claws, causing blood to gush out of our faces and eventually killing us if we don't please him! He'll ****ing kill us Taylor! We must dominate tonight or we will get slashed to death like in our nightmares."

"Sound good," Hall replies with a shrug and they skate out to the opening faceoff, scoring on their first shift and cruising onto an easy 5 - 1 win. Horcoff applauds Nuge's leadership skills after the game which fills Ryan with pure unadulterated pride in himself.

****ing Oiler game not on SNETWEST! They'd rather show the entire Flame game than the Oilers game in Edmonton!

Does Dubnyk think he's LeBron James with those water bottle theatrics?

Listening to the Wings feed. Pretty sure the color commentator is either very confused or drunk.
