Leafs are getting there. If they can get a couple defensive studs and a upper echelon goalie look out.

Very entertaining first period..I think the Leafs would have to get rid of Phaneuf before they could really move forward.

Yep. They're playing more Bruin-like than the Bruins are.
The Bruins organization better wake up and start evolving the roster. OTT, TOR and MTL are progressively competing and will be challenging us in the next year or two.

Phaneuf's been excellent for them this year. Carrying lots of AHLers on his pairing.

I remember the Bruins were 1 pt behind the Habs with 4 games in hand. We may be 3 pts down with one in hand after tonight...

Enjoying the Ottawa/Toronto game, lots of passion, fights, hits, scoring chances, things we used to see from the Bruins.

GOATvechkin with a PP goal.

I thought he was done according to most people?.

I'd take him on the Bruins in a heartbeat.

Claude could turn him into a 20 game scorer

Me too, both teams look fantastic, and the Leafs look like how we used to. It's pretty depressing though, even though we always win against Ottawa, the Leafs just look a lot better. Lupul has been on fire ever since he got back.

I think they're challenging us in the next week or two the way it's going lately...

They ARE challenging us.
If anyone didn't already get that ... wake up.
I'm not sure if we're even the best team in this division anymore.

I completely disagree, unless you were being sarcastic.

For a team that's currently 11th in scoring, and have been 2nd and 5th in scoring the past few seasons, the entire "Julien neuters offensive players" jargon is pretty off-base.

I know people will say that they just mean that the scoring is balanced, but Ovechkin would certainly be the leading goalscorer here.

If Lucic can pot 30 goals and Marchand can nearly reach 30 goals, there's little doubt Ovechkin is breaking 40 goals.

Chiarelli should have listened to Lucic when he said to draft Gallagher

I got news for ya, if the B's lose to Buffalo tomorrow, and after today that's not out of the question, the Bruins could be the worst team in their division this year!

I thought Kadri was fat and lazy? Dude must have 13 of his goals in the games I have watched. He is a menace.
