Martin put a brutal KO punch on Kostopolous tonight.

Just stop fighting already, man.

GOATvechkin could very well end up finishing second in goals this season with an outside chance at first. As much as I love him, his play near the top of the defensive zone does irk me sometimes when I'm watching him. He reaches too much, but I guess you have to give a little to get a little, and it's working out for him.

I'd take him on the Bruins with his cap hit in a heartbeat.

Pens without Crosby are looking rough. 4-1 Buffalo right now...

If he's shorting, I'm buying calls!

Ovechkin has been playing well for awhile now after a slow start, glad people are finally noticing.

It's admirable...but its guys like him and Dzurinski (sp?) that are going to get fighting banned...It's not for amateurs....

I know but I write that in this thread every time I see he scores.

I've noticed, just like how I like to write GOATvechkin..

The league is much better with him playing well, unless it's against the Bruins.

I wish the Bruins PP could look like the Capitals.......

Cool to see the Pens drop back down to earth. They did fine without Malkin, but without Sid they looked a bit lost.

It is?

When people say that about Crosby or him it's something I just don't get. If hockey is the ultimate TEAM sport, why do we get individuals rammed down our throats.

I don't think I've ever tuned into a game to watch a single player.

Maybe just me?

They're just fulfilling their duty to the ticket holders.

I don't often turn into a game for just one player, but I do when it's Ovechkin.

It's pretty simple that the league is better when it's best players are playing at their best.......

@DarrenDreger: Brutal news out of Carolina. Pitkanen's ankle injury will end his season. Expected to be out 3 months.

I would love it if the rags miss the playoffs. Watching them burn assets and miss would be beautiful

I actually want them to finish 8th so they can take a shot at knocking out the Pens.
