@SlavaMalamud: The NHL is the most caring league of all. It includes its own Special Olympics. They call it the "Southeast"

Pretty much nails how I feel this year.

Why the hell does he initiate and go after Kane of all people if he's apparently not allowed to fight ?

It's dangerous for him to fight but maybe he doesn't want to be seen as someone who is going to run away from it either. I don't know why he fights considering his injury and his inability to fight but for whatever reason, he's not backing down from fights. I find it strange personally. Curiously though, only times he's stood up to take a punch to the face is against other team's offensive (or at the very least talented) players. For instance, 3 NHL fights: Chara, Kane, Foligno. I'd imagine he'd refuse a goon but he'll take a punch if he's removing a team's decent player. Terrible fighter, I think his fighting technique is more related to trying to protect his cheek more so than on the attack.

At end of the day. The complaint is he doesn't fight and now he is. What's the problem?

Hossa with a huge slap shot, top shelf for a shootout goal, but the Blues beat the Hawks.

Chara should do the same thing for the Bruins. Hossa just casually skated to middle of the slot and ripped a slapper. Elliot had no chance.

Not first time Hossa does it. Supreme player overshadowed by Toews and Kane. Elite talent that any team would say is best offensive player.

That makes sense when it was Chara at least, but who cares if he takes Kane off the ice with 3 minutes left in a 4-1 game? I didn't see what preceded it earlier in the game, but he came up and popped Kane with 2 gloved shots there, I don't blame Kane for dropping the gloves. Emelin is going to end up hurt if he continues to play that way yet can't fight. He needs to tone it down for his own good.

Why in the hell do fans of other teams always come to us saying in peace? It is humorous when Habs fans say it **** up and go back to your boards with your nonsense.

Well, yeah, another Habs fans coming in peace

Seriously thought, after tonight I was looking at how fast Wheeler was skating and he was going hard to the net. I just don't remember why Boston lose him. They traded him to the Trashers ? Against who? Peverley? Anyway the point is, I always thought he was decent for the Bruins and similar offensive output than Horton for say.

Was he liked on the Bruins or not at all?

Some liked him some didn't, a complaint was that he was always off sides. Probably due to his speed.

Inconsistent as a Bruin. Never really took a step forward offensively after his first season. Drove people nuts with his offsides, caught a lot of flack for not being physical enough for his size but he was always very strong along the boards. The change of scenery probably really helped his game. Just wasn't working as a Bruin. Peverley helped a lot on the Cup run so I can't complain even though Wheeler is a better player now.

I think he got more ice time and responsibility with the Jets, and was able to rise to the challenge. His game was inconsistent with the Bruins. Peverley showed some good flashes with Atlanta, and was able to contribute to the cup run.

He was pals with Krejci, who was sad to see him go.
