Well of course they are!! They only had one powerplay!!! And several times those goonish Capitals knocked down noble Canadiens and no penalty was called!!! Knocked them right down on to the ice!!!

The crowd booed for about 2 minutes straight after a "missed" call.

In the name of WHill WHeaton, there isn't enough cheese in all of France to accompany all that WHine.

Craps announcers were getting a good chuckle out of the crowd.

Gotta be honest, watched an Islander game vs Flyers last night, nice to see that horrific barn in LI filled, loud and excited again.

I would much rather face Toronot or Ottawa than the Islanders.

Same with me. They have some really fast and good scorers.

Not a whole lot of playoff experience but that works two ways as you well know

Too young/inexperienced to handle the playoff game or

too young/inexperienced to know their time isn`t now and they play loose

Erik Karlsson wasn't on the ice today in Ottawa. Don't expect him to skate again this week. #Sens

Really? I'd think the islanders would be a quick out for Boston, very little playoff experience and none as a team

I'd like to face Ottawa be because it would get the boys into it right away, slightly less so for Toronto but the novelty of that match up would be something else

Have we had a TO or NYR playoff series since 71-72?

I don't tend to watch Habs games outside B's, but had some free time so flipped it on last night ... I can't believe how freaking dumb 20,000+ people can be ... it bothered me even more last night that when they play the B's for some reason Everytime a Hab stumbled or got breathed on it was deafening boos ... for like 5 minutes at a time. How such a storied franchise can have such a clueless fan base is staggering.

The thing is I don't think they are clueless at all. They are just trying to influence the refs into giving their team an undeserved PP, because that's how they roll.

i hate to give Habs fans any credit for anything, but i think they react like that to try to get into the refs heads. They (or at least most of them) know that whatever happened wasn't a penalty, but they think maybe they can make the refs think they missed and so they'll get the next one.

Mike Knuble on the rumor Bryz fell asleep in team meetings from Sam Carchidi on twitter @BroadStBull:

Knuble says reports of Bryz being asleep are "asinine" and "your ass doesn't make the seat warm enough to fall asleep." #flyers

Karlsson skated on Monday, but it sounds like it didn't go all that well.

He might have felt pain after he was done skating or something like that because I have seen the video of him skating on TSN's Sportscenter and he looked really good. In fact, I was shocked to see him skating so well and wondered if he couldn't be ready for the playoffs after all.

Anybody catch the Habs - Sabres game? I only saw the highlights this morning, but it seems like they were constantly on the PP? Must be nice?

It's too bad Gallagher was not a Bruin, he would have been great here. Ott layer a huge, but clean hit on him and a couple of Hab teammates started to go after Ott, and Gallagher actually told them it was cool and to back off. Didn't work, as Boullion still went after Ott on the next whistle.

I really can't stand it when a player makes a huge clean hit like that, and then gets jumped. To be honest, I would take Ott or Gallagher on the B's in a heartbeat.

Anybody see Malkin get roughed up a bit by Gudas and Engelland bust through to talk? Haven't seen that in Bruins land in a long time.
