Don't really care for Steckel or the guy we traded for but at least we clear roster space and get a pick.

Nonis slowly getting rid of Burke's team.

Skating is abysmal. Has a long reach and faceoffs pretty good. Glad hes gone for somethng, anything.

I don't understand what you mean by "more AHL defense" though. Lasch is a forward.
The leafs unwillingness to send down the AHL dmen for a spot is wat i was referring to

awesome move I thought we might have to waive him. He's a pretty useless plug in all honesty and he's redundant with Mcclement who is twice the player and is actually what you want in a bottom 6 player.

Colborne WILL be called up at some point for an audition. He's on the last year of his EL deal and they need to make a decision on him.

Agreed.
I thought he was a good pick-up last year. But other than winning face-offs, he's shown nothing else here.

If they want to call up Gardiner whichever of the three above is left, gets moved.
Got the order wrong, but the moves were pretty obvious.

Well they haven't been a lottery team for a decade either. Leafs loaded up on top 10 picks the past several years. They've picked 5th., 7th., 2nd., 9th., 5th. so have replenished the prospects pool with top end talent.

Nonis is trading all the Americans away (Mike Brown, Dave Steckel), Jake Gardiner Phil Kessel .. bringing in those Ontario boys!!!

but in all seriousness, solid trade, cap space and getting rid of a player who didnt really do much. Tired of seeing "C depth", he could barely play C anymore, aint much depth.
